Wheeling grad Max Nowry, the reigning Class AA 103-pound wrestling champ, won both freestyle and Greco-Roman titles for the second straight year at the recent Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
Marc Tadelman was named the new head mat coach at New Trier last week,
replacing Augie Fontanetta, who resigned to take the position as
athletic director at Fremd High School in Palatine.
Neuqua Valley wrestler Alex Cizek is accustomed to competing against foes from Waubonsie Valley or Glenbard North. This summer, however, Cizek and a host of local wrestlers will have a chance to go up against international wrestlers.
