CLASS 4A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS
RICHARDS
Richards 12, Bloom 1: Danielle Kappel was 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI while Brianna LeBau was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Hannah Jenkins was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI and Molly Pohredney was 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBI for No. 4 Richards (29-4).
HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR
Mother McAuley 10, Oak Lawn 0: Ashley Rogers struck out 11 and gave up no hits through six inngins and went 2-for-2 with a three-run home. Emily Powers was 3-for-4 with two RBI.
ANDREW
Andrew 10, Thornwood 0: Danie Bestwina was 3-for-3 and Caitlyn Migawa had a double and an RBI for Andrew (23-5).
HOFFMAN ESTATES
Conant 7, Hoffman Estates 1: Kim Jacobson was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI while Miranda Cavin was 2-for-4 with two RBI for No. 1 Conant.
ST. CHARLES NORTH
Glenbard North 5, Glenbard East 0: Winning pitcher Lilly Fecho gave up three hits, struck out 15 and went 1-for-3 with two RBI from the plate for Glenbard North (32-2).
MAINE SOUTH
Maine South 8, Resurrection 2: Jenna Christie pitched a complete game, Kaitlyn Mullarkey was 3-for-3 with a homer and a double and Nicole Johnson was 3-for-3 with a triple for Maine South (14-20).
CLASS 3A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS
MARIAN CATHOLIC
Marian Catholic 20, Hillcrest 1: Haley Earl blasted a grand slam and scored three runs while Alex Nickel added another grand slam for Marian Catholic.
ELMWOOD PARK
Elmwood Park 10, Clark 0: Kaitlyn Jakobsen was 2-for-2 with four RBI for Elmwood Park (16-15).
QUEEN OF PEACE
Queen of Peace 15, Hyde Park 1: Casey Kodatt was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Erica Buck was 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI for Queen of Peace.
NAZARETH
Evergreen Park 14, Phillips 0: Pitcher Carolyn Roberts struck out 12 in a no-hitter and went 3-for-3 with two home runs and five RBI. Tori Senerchia was 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBI for Evergreen Park (21-10).
RIVERSIDE-BROOKFIELD
Riverside-Brookfield 12, Hubbard 0: Kylie O’Connell struck out 13 and was perfect through five innings pitched. Emma Schander was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI for Riverside-Brookfield (25-7).
