Conant 16, Rolling Meadows 0: Briana Cavin struck out six and gave up one hit in five innings pitched for No. 3 Conant. She was also 4-for-4 with four RBI, while Sarah Thompson was 3-for-3 with three RBI to spark the rout.
Elk Grove 5, Palatine 1: Dani Goranson (13-4) had 20 strikeouts to lead No. 7 Elk Grove (17-4, 8-2 Mid-Suburban East). She gave up two hits, walked two and was 3-for-4 with one home run and one RBI behind the plate. Becca Walz helped out with a three-run homer.
Fremd 8, Buffalo Grove 1: Rachel Doering had 10 strikeouts, one walk and gave up one hit in a complete game effort for No. 18 Fremd (21-5). Megan Hubbard was 3-for-3 with one RBI.
Barrington 7, Hersey 6, 8 inn.: Jordan Wekony (2-for-4, one double, two RBI) and Raegan Fingerman (2-for-4, two RBI) pushed No. 19 Barrington (24-4, 8-2 Mid-Suburban West).
Antioch 14, North Chicago 0: Katie Keith had nine strikeouts in the win for Anitoch (15-10). Taylor Schiltz was 2-for-2 with one double and three RBI.
Chicago Christian 7, Aurora Central 1: Becky DeRuiter had six strikeouts, giving up three hits and one earned run in a complete game's work for Chicago Christian (16-9, 10-3 Suburban Christian Gold). Kaycee Pittman (2-for-3, one double, three RBI) and Lindsay Huisenda (2-for-4, two triples, one run scored) led the offensive attack.
Crystal Lake Central 8, Woodstock 1: Taylor Ward had nine strikeouts and gave up four hits in a complete game for Crystal Lake Central. Paige Rondeau added a home run and two RBI.
Downers South 13, Willowbrook 7: Aleisha Bozek (8-5) had two strikeouts and gave up 12 hits in the win for Downers South (15-8, 4-1 Gold). Kristina Airdo (2-for-4, two-run homer, three RBI, two runs scored), Caitlyn Daily (3-for-5, one double, two RBI, two runs scored), Katie LaCivita (3-for-3, one double, two RBI, two runs scored) and Danielle Trezzo (3-for-5, one double, one RBI, two runs scored) paced the offensive charge.
Fenton 6, St. Joseph 1: Hannah Wassman was 2-for-2 with one RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base to lead Fenton.
Glenbard West 3, York 0: Rachel Hitzemann (2-for-2, two runs scored) and Megan Johnson (1-for-3, two RBI) led the way for the Hilltoppers.
Warren 11, Stevenson 3: Jessica Demskihad struck out five and gave up three hits in a complete game for Warren (21-4-1). Sam Belleteni (4-for-4, two-run homer) and Megan Sowa (2-for-3, one home run, two RBI) led the way offensively.
