Glenbard North 21, Wheaton North 0: Lilly Fecho (15-0) struck out five and held the Falcons hitless through five innings for the No. 2 Panthers (20-0, 6-0 DuPage Valley). Alexis Simone belted a grand slam and drove in five RBI for Glenbard North.
Conant 15, Wheeling 1: The No. 5 Cougars rolled past the Wildcats as Barb Linderman finished 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBI. Winning pitcher Shannon O'Connor worked six innings of four-hit ball with five strikeouts for the win.
Bartlett 13, Maine West 0: Steph Tomazin riddled Maine West with three hits, including a home run, and knocked in two runs while scoring three times as well. Tori Burker was sharp with six strikeouts over three innings to claim the win. She also joined the fun offensively with two hits and two RBI.
Glenbard West 8, Oak Park-River Forest 1: Taylor Langtry (10-5) earned the win for the Hilltoppers. Jacklyn Tyburk went 2-for-4 with a home run and Maggie Stalker also jacked a home run and scored twice. Maddie Morris contributed two hits and two RBI for Glenbard West.
Grant 5, Crystal Lake Central 3: Rachel DePaw allowed three runs and six hits in addition to five punchouts for the complete-game victory.
Homewood-Flossmoor 4, Crown Point (Ind.) 2: Sarah Burke went the distance, notching eight strikeouts along the way.
Leyden 12, Addison Trail 6: Morgan Maize's three-run homer lifted the Eagles (18-5) past the Blazers.
Lincoln-Way West 6, Lincoln-Way North 7, 12 inn.: Morghan Dieringer earned the win for Lincoln-Way West. Rachael Luckett slapped three doubles and Jess Kaemerer finished 4-for-6 at the dish.
Montini 6, St. Edward 3: Tori Schipbaugh had two hits and two RBI for the Broncos. Kayla Cooper added a double and two RBI for Montini (13-9, 9-2 Suburban Christian Blue)
Mother McAuley 9, Shepard 6: Emily Powers (4-for-4, two home runs, two RBI) and Alex Brown (4-for-4, home run, three RBI) powered the Mighty Macs (19-6).
Seneca 6, Reed-Custer 0: Allison Coughlin hit a triple, knocked in three runs and scored once for Seneca. Winning pitcher Nicole Pihi yielded two hits and fanned eight in a complete-game effort.
Taft 12, Clemente 1: Lety Rosales was a one-girl wrecking crew cranking two homers with six RBI for Taft (12-7, 4-3 Red-North).
Willowbrook 16, Proviso East 0: Darian Pelsor picked up the victory for Willowbrook.
