Amundsen 17, Ridgewood 10: Erica Reffett powered Amundsen (3-1) to the win with four RBI.
Andrew 8, Marist 2: Kelly Christian (3-for-3) and Jenna Lenza each hit a two-run home run for the Thunderbolts (1-0).
Benet 11, Hinsdale South 0: Maeve McGuire finished 3-for-4 with a homer, three RBI, and three runs scored in the easy win for the Redwings (2-0).
Brooks 2, Noble Street 1: Mari Hooper struck out five in the win for Brooks (1-0).
Curie 14, Proviso East 5: Mia Melendez (1-1) pitched a complete game for Curie (3-3), allowing no earned runs and just two hits. She also went 3-for-3 and knocked in a run. Maria Gaspar also had an RBI.
De La Salle 10, Seton 0: Winning pitcher Cathy Crowley struck out 10 over five innings in a no-hit effort for the Meteors (4-1).
DeKalb 2, Huntley 0: Katie Kowalski pitched a complete game for DeKalb, allowing three hits while striking out nine hitters. She also had a double and an RBI.
Fremd 10, Loyola 0: Rachel Doering pitched the Vikings to a 6-0 record, striking out seven and giving up just one hit.
Glenbard North 5, Lake Park 3: Glenbard North earned the win thanks to Lilly Fecho's complete game which included allowiing two earned runs, four hits, and striking out eight. She also went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Kelsey Muller hit a two-run homer and scored a run while Bri Harn knocked in three runs, scored, and stole a base.
Glenbard West 4, Montini 2: The Hilltoppers defeated the Broncos behind the pitching of Taylor Langtry.
Lisle 7, Rosary 0: Melanie Early (2-0) tossed a complete-game shutout for the Lions (4-0), giving up five hits and striking out 11.
Luther North 14, Chicago Academy 3: Jessi Sobecki gave up 2 runs and six hits while striking out four over five innings to pick up the win for the Wildcats (2-0). January Hammerberg led the way at the plate, going 4-for-4, with an RBI and four runs scored.
Maine South 1, Lane 0: Cara Lasbowski shut out the Indians for seven innings, punching out eight hitters. Regan Carmichael knocked in the game-winning RBI.
Nazareth 10, Chicago Christian 0: Colleen McGivney (2-for-2) led the charge offensively with a double, triple and three RBI for the Roadrunners (2-1).
Oak Park-River Forest 4, Morton 0: Emma Baldwin gave up five hits and no walks against nine strikeouts to pick up the victory for the Huskies.
Plainfield Central 3, Bolingbrook 2: Kaleigh Nagle (3-0) gave up a run and three hits over seven innings to earn the win for the Wildcats (4-0).
St. Ignatius 14, Taft 0: The Wolfpack (5-0) remained perfect on the season behind winning pitcher Colleen Hoffman’s (1-0) 10 strikeouts over five innings and Katie Gallagher’s day at the plate (3-for-4, HR, 2B, four RBI).
Timothy Christian 10, Walther Lutheran 0: Marissa Voss (2-2) struck out 10 over a five-inning perfect game to pick up the win for the Trojans (3-2).
Wheaton North 6, Larkin 0: Nicky Kent (1-0) struck out three in a complete-game victory for the Falcons (1-1). Kat Meyer (2-for-3, RBI, run scored) and Tiffany Gaimari (2-for-3, two runs scored) paced Wheaton North at the plate.
