CLASS 4A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

WEST AURORA

West Auora d. Joliet Central 25-7, 25-5: Lauren Carlini (six kills) and Peyton McKenzie (five kills, five aces) led West Aurora.

Benet d. Joliet West 25-11, 25-7: Jenna Jendry and Maddie Haggerty each had four kills. Maddie Haggerty had two aces and five digs for No.3 Benet.

PLAINFIELD CENTRAL

Plainfield Central d. Metea Valley 25-23, 25-23: Plainfield Central (21-15) was powered by Erin Hyland’s nine kills and two blocks.

Neuqua Valley d. Plainfield North 25-16, 25-9: Leighanne Novak’s six kills, six digs and four aces, along with Cassie Collins’ three digs and 11 assists, led Neuqua Valley (21-16).

EVANSTON

Evanston d. Taft 25-19, 25-23: Casey Durham had nine kills and Martha Murray had eight.

GENEVA

West Chicago d. Addison Trail 25-11, 25-13: Jamie Jasinowski had three kills and eight digs. Arianne Hawkins had nine digs in the West Chicago (18-16) win.

LIBERTYVILLE

Lake Zurich d. Zion-Benton 25-12, 25-12: Layne Self’s seven kills and Kristen Walding’s 20 assists helped lead Lake Zurich (25-11) to victory.

STEVENSON

Mundelein d. Palatine 25-21, 25-18: Mundelein (21-14) was powered by Courtney Perreault (nine kills, six digs) and Karen Chin (two kills, 10 digs, 10 assists).

Stevenson d. Prospect 25-14, 25-15: Rachel Baader had eight kills, Liza Pflugradt had seven kills and Jamie Baranowski had 11 assists for Stevenson (28-8).

DUNDEE-CROWN

Barrington d. Jacobs 25-21, 25-17: Peyton Lang (nine kills), Olivia Szuzskiewicz (nine kills), Lauren Shechtman (six kills, three blocks), Julia Thompson (six kills, 10 digs), Lauren Dunseith (27 assists), Amanda Dee (12 digs) and Emily Casaletto (10 digs) all contributed to the Barrington win.

ST. IGNATIUS

St. Ignatius d. Proviso East 25-9, 25-5: St. Ignatius (29-7) was led by Katie Gallagher (six kills) and Kristi May (five aces, five digs).

DOWNERS NORTH

Downers North d. Morton 25-10, 25-11: Taylor Kasal put up two aces and 19 assists. Jessie Tulacka had 11 kills with two aces.

STAGG

Stagg d. Andrew 25-13, 25-22: Jill Conrad led Stagg with six kills and five blocks.

Mother McAuley d. Oak Lawn 25-7, 25-11: Lizzy Scanlon totaled six kills.

CRETE-MONEE

Lincoln-Way North d. Richards 25-18, 19-25, 25-23: Casey Zimmerman (eight kills, seven blocks) and Michelle Scott (12 digs) led Lincoln-Way North (21-15).

PROVIDENCE

Providence d. Eisenhower 25-10, 25-14: Nora Mitros (five kills, two aces) Krista Brakauskas (four kills, 17 assists) powered Providence (28-8).

CLASS 3A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

EVERGREEN PARK

Evergreen Park d. Harlan 25-16, 25-10: Patrice Silas put up eight kills and Megan Beckow had five for Evergreen Park (13-18).

QUEEN OF PEACE

Queen of Peace d. Rich South 25-17, 25-13: Allyson Murray and Morgan Miller both had five killls. Bethany Kingsley and Sam Bies each had 10 assists.

RICH CENTRAL

Rich Central d. Hillcrest 25-10, 25-20: Nakeyta Clair had 17 kills and three blocks.

Illiana Christian d. Brooks 25-9, 25-19: Kaylin Kramer had six kills and Jacklene Bonnema had five.

OAK FOREST

Oak Forest d. Morgan Park 25-7, 25-8: Autumn Seiler and Stephanie Dagenais both had six kills. Kate Zickus had six aces and 18 assists in the Oak Park (5-11) win.

ST. FRANCIS

St. Francis d. Montini 25-10, 25-19: St. Francis (30-6) was led by Haley Gable (eight kills), Maddie Defino (three aces, nine digs) and Carly Warner (16 assists).

NAZARETH

Nazareth d. Mt. Assisi 25-13, 25-14: Brittany Brown finished with nine kills and Samantha Brown with five.

PAYTON

U-High d. Orr 25-4, 25-12: Danny Zhang had four kills and Jabria Lewis had three kills, six aces with 11 assists for U-High (15-13).

MARENGO

Marian Central d. Woodstock 25-12, 25-9: Meredith Patterson had five kills and Frankie Taylor had four aces in the Marian Central (30-6) win.

RESURRECTION

Resurrection d. Antioch 25-17, 25-22: Christine Janci had 13 kills and Sarah Wenzl had 12 assists for Resurrection.

Carmel d. Kelvyn Park 25-6, 25-5: Caitlin Barry finished with five kills in the Carmel (24-13) win.

REGINA

Vernon Hills d. Fenton 25-12, 25-21: Shannon Nugent’s 12 kills and Megan Meline’s 11 digs helped put Vernon Hills (21-15) over the top.

CLASS 1A

HARVEST CHRISTIAN

Harvest Christian d. Hinckley-Big Rock 23-25, 25-14, 25-13: Harvest Christian was led by Sydney Doby (16 kills, two blocks, 12 digs), Erica Manusos (eight kills), Sarah Kott (six kills), Erica Manusos (two aces, 13 digs) and Katelyn Floyd (19 assists).
