You’ve been to state three times, winning one title and finishing second twice. Do you feel kind of spoiled?

I guess so. Yeah, it’s a blessing to be with these girls for so long, too.

What’s the best part about volleyball?

Just the intensity of every single point.

What makes girls volleyball better than boys volleyball?

Boys volleyball is more just power. Girls actually get to play defense and have exciting digs.

If you could have a player from another team be your teammate, who would it be?

Amber Clay, of Marian (Catholic). Her serves are so exciting. I have a similar serve. If both of the serves were put together, I think it would be a good team.

When you get mad, what happens next?

During a game, if I get mad I always want to get the ball right away because I usually take my anger out on the ball.

Your dream celebrity prom date. Who is it?

Probably Matthew McConaughey. He’s very good looking.

In 10 years, what the funniest story you’ll tell about coach (James) Garcia?

About how he talks with his hands. Even during the games in the huddle he’s always using his hands. And he’ll make fun of you whenever he can and make us all laugh.

Any nicknames?

They call me Lindy, just because of my last name.

When you look in the mirror, what does it tell you about yourself?

That I’m just a really happy person. I usually have a smile on my face and try to make people around me happy.
