Hillcrest 70, Thornton 39: The No. 3 Hawks (5-0) remain on an early season roll led by Shannise Heady's 16 points and Brittney Wilson's 13 points.

Hyde Park 49, Gary Lew Wallace (Ind.) 40: Hyde Park earned a hard-fought victory as Marlynda Bishop led the way with 20 points and ten rebounds. Katherine Harris shared top scoring honors with 20 points.

Lisle 47, Wilmington 22: Darien Payne lifted Lisle (4-2, 1-0 Interstate Eight) with a team-high 17 points.

North Lawndale 72, Uplift 32: Shantell Wilson sparked the Phoenix (2-4) with 20 points, while Amber Lemons chipped in 15 points.

Northside 58, Roosevelt 24: Anastasia Jermihov had 10 points and handed out six assists for Northside (3-2).

Ogden 39, Farragut 21: Nichiria Byrd scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Ogden (2-0, 1-0 Metro West) in its conference opener. Kristen Lyda contributed eight points and six rebounds.

Orr 50, Bowen 24: The Spartans improved to 6-3 this season behind Angel Winn’s 23 points and Cassidy White’s 12 points.

Powerhouse 36, Little Village 28: Persephonie Allen paced Powerhouse with 20 points and Tekia Williams also reached double figures with 10 points.
