Metea Valley 50, North Chicago 28: Megan Geldernick scored 13 points and dished out four assists for Metea Valley (2-3). Junior center Amira Turner pulled down 15 rebounds.

BROOKS

Carver 17, Dyett 14: Samantha Covarrubiaf had 11 points for Carver.

Dunbar 27, Foreman 15: LaMichael Dean's 17 points powered Dunbar to the win.

Hope 45, Vocational 13: Hope cruised past the Cavaliers, led by Danisha Maggette (12 points).

Orr 31, Roosevelt 29: Angel Wynn scored 13 points as the Spartans edged the Rough Riders.

MAINE WEST

Marian Catholic 53, Hersey 34: Sophomore forward Aston Millender scored a team-high 14 points and freshman guard Teniya Page added 11 points and four assists to lead the Spartans (2-1). Senior Amber Williams contributed seven points, eight rebounds and three steals.

NILES NORTH

Fenwick 93, Resurrection 63: No.12 Fenwick cruised past Resurrection behind Meredith Boardman's 23 points. Paige Carvino scored 15 points and Jade Owens added 11 points.

SCHAUMBURG

Glenbrook South 46, Proviso West 31: Colleen McDonagh led the Titans (4-1) past the Panthers. Amelia Hummel chipped in 11 points and nine boards.
