Lincoln Park 66, Hyde Park 32: Jazmin Benitez scored 17 points for the Lions (2-0). Jasmine Williams contributed 16 points and Michel Washington added 15 points.

Lincoln-Way Central 40, Plainfield North 33: Kelsie Foster’s 11 points paved the way in the Knights’ close win over Plainfield North. Autumn Schults scored nine points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Woodstock North 46, Maine East 33: Haylee Nutter (19 points) and Kaitlin Chamberlain (14 points) lifted Woodstock North (2-0) over Maine East.

ANDREW

Oak Lawn 55, Joliet West 53: LaTondra Brooks netted 24 points in a close win for the Spartans.

Rich Central 49, Andrew 43: Chaz Duson tallied 12 points and Alex Stanford added 10 points for Rich Central.

BEECHER

Beecher 42, Coal City 26: The host Ladycats were led by Amari Griffin (23 points) in Orange Pool competition.

Illiana Christian 50, Bremen 28: Jaciene Bonnema and Megan Knapper scored 16 and nine points, respectively, as the Vikings coasted to victory.

BURLINGTON CENTRAL

Belvidere North 65, Elgin 20: Kirsten Larsonts helped Belvidere North become 3-0, scoring 17 points in the win.

Harlem 56, Elgin 28: Harlem (1-1) was led by Serina Cortinez's 20 points.

DEERFIELD

Niles West 56, Evanston 36: Jewell Loyd showed up big for No. 25 Niles West (3-0), scoring 38 points, grabbing 14 boards, stealing the ball six times and blocking three shots.

ELGIN ACADEMY

Harvest Christian 32, Elgin Academy 19: Sydney Doby totaled 14 points and 11 rebounds for Harvest Christian (2-1).

Willows 31, Hiawatha 28, title: WIllows gained their fourth win of the year with help from Monica Hinderer (15 points, eight rebounds) and Brigid Walsh (nine points).

GENEVA

Montini 58, Providence 28: Nikia Edom put up 16 points in No.8 Montini's first win of the season.

GLENBARD EAST

Downers North 50, Glenbard East 32: Sarah Costello scored 14 points and Izzy Greenblatt scored 12.

Glenbard South 48, Crete-Monee 27: Theresa Scheet finished with 10 points for Glenbard South.

Glenbard West 44, Glenbard North 36: Caitlin Stone scored 14 points to spark the Hilltoppers (1-0) in their season opener. Natalie Noland and Abby Keirnan added nine points apiece.

Oswego East 45, Rosary 44: Arneasa Blair dropped 18 points in the close win.

Kaneland 35, Regina 24: Kelly Evers had 11 points and six rebounds for Kaneland (1-0). Ashley Prost chipped in eight points, seven rebounds and three rebounds.

Aurora Christian 53, IMSA 37, third: Alyssa Henzel had 19 pts with 11 boards and Mackenzie Bollinger had 14 points with six steals.

Timothy Christian 52, St. Francis 50, fifth: The Trojans (2-1) dominated the paint as Tessa Bowman had 16 points and 17 rebounds and Cassidy Block posted 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Proviso East 67, Niles North 61: Kalea Parks (28 points), Jakeisha Wells (nine points, 11 rebounds, three blocks) and Stacey Welch (nine points, eight assists) provided the power for Proviso East (2-0).

RICHARDS

Lincoln-Way East 56, Richards 36, title: Caitlin McMahon scored a team-high 18 points lifting the Griffins to the championship. Taylor Johnson had nine points for Lincoln-Way East (4-0).

Thornton 38, T.F. South 36, third: Dasia McByrd scored 14 points for Thornton (2-1) in the third-place game.

Curie 44, Eisenhower 31: Shamiah Oliver (19 points) and Christina Griffin (16 points) led the Condors (2-1).

Evergreen Park 41, Reavis 34: Megan Beckow scored 15 points and Jasmine Elem chipped in 12 points for Evergreen Park (1-2).

RICH SOUTH

Hillcrest 84, Thornton 29: Shannise Heady scored a team-high 17 points as the No.3 Hawks (2-0) cruised to victory. Lorielle Little turned in an excellent all-around performance with nine points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks, while Jasmine Sanders chipped in 11 points.

ROCKFORD AUBURN

Bartlett 79, Rockford Auburn 27: Kristin Conniff had 19 points and four rebounds. Haley Videckis scored 14 points with seven boards and five steals for No.11 Bartlett (3-0).

ROMEOVILLE

Romeoville 75, Guilford 49: Keira Currie (16 points), Brianna Harris (13 points) and Abby Smith (11 points) led a balanced offensive attack for the unbeaten Spartans (3-0).

WAUBONSIE VALLEY

Huntley 51, Naperville North 46: Abbey Shaw scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to carry Huntley (1-1) over the Huskies.

Walther Lutheran 56, St. Joseph 54: Isimeme Edeko had 16 points.
