Marist 56, Marshall 28: The No. 6 RedHawks (1-0) opened the season with 25 points from Claire Ryan.

De La Salle 54, King 37: JaVonna Smith had 16 points and Brandy Lewis added 12 points to pace the Meteors (1-0).

Harlan 58, Hyde Park 32: Latisha Bennett led Harlan (1-0) with 10 points, three assists and six steals while Clenosha Byrd (10 points, six rebounds) and Kendra Sole (10 points, four assists) also finished in double-figures.

Joliet Catholic 56, LaSalle-Peru 41: Naomi Mayes (19 points) and Ciarra Stanciel (10 points) led the Angels (1-0) to victory.

Oswego 58, Sycamore 38: Jordan Campbell had 16 points and Kelsey Nelson had 12 points to lead Oswego (1-0).

Rosary 52, IMSA 41: Karly Tate had 13 points and Taylor Gibson had 11 points to lead Rosary (1-0).

Sandwich 40, Plano 39: Kaylyn Wedra had 10 points to lead Sandwich (1-0).

Willows 49, Ida Crown 18: Monica Hinderer had 15 points and 23 rebounds for Willows (1-0) while Becca Krupowicz had seven points and nine rebounds.
