Elk Grove d. Hersey 25-14, 25-13: Aaron Kraus had eight kills, Mike Kawa had five kills and Jeff Miceli had 14 assists for No. 15 Elk Grove (21-4).

Barrington d. Schaumburg 25-15, 25-22: Tommy Leonard had nine kills, Charlie Spry had eight kills and Taylor Ganzer had 24 assists.

Glenbrook South d. Evanston 25-16, 25-18: Will Kozloski totaled five kills and two blocks while Matt Kaiser had 18 assists and Steve Mohr had three aces for Glenbrook South (17-7, 4-1 Central Suburban South).

Lincoln Park d. Northside 25-20, 25-8: Alecks Glass had 16 kills and Clinton Liang had 30 assists for Lincoln Park (14-3, 8-1 Gold).

Lyons d. Hinsdale Central 25-11, 25-19: Marko Kostich had five kills, an ace and 14 assists while Jason Dolinski had four kills, two aces and two blocks in the Lyons (11-8, 3-2 West Suburban Silver) win.

Maine South d. Niles West 25-15, 25-22: Scotty Adamczyk had five kills while Nate Wolf and Mike Hopkins each had four kills each and Matt Garvey had 15 assists for Maine South (14-6).

New Trier d. Waukegan 25-11, 25-9: Mike Gajos had five kills and three blocks, Mike Gahlon had three kills and Justin Schroeder had 10 digs for New Trier (16-9).

Plainfield Central d. Plainfield East 25-18, 25-15: Tom Poznanski had 10 kills with six digs and Cody Swanson had 17 assists for Plainfield Central (13-7).

Riverside-Brookfield d. Hinsdale South 21-25, 25-18, 25-19: Jack Gibson registered eight kills and four digs, Jack McCarthy had seven kills and five blocks and Rich Green had two kills, 18 assists and eight digs for Riverside-Brookfield (13-12).

Shepard d. Oak Lawn: 21-25, 25-22, 25-15: Kyle Joy had 11 kills and Dan Taylor had 10 for Shepard (11-12).

Waubonsie Valley d. Metea Valley 25-23, 28-26: Michael Simmons racked up 16 kills, Michael Storm had eight, Seth Salmon had four and Luke Furman put up 28 assists for No. 10 Waubonsie Valley.

West Chicago d. Wheaton North 20-25, 25-15, 26-24: Liam Flaherty had 10 kills, five aces and 15 digs for West Chicago (11-9, 4-5 DuPage Valley).
