WW South d. Wheaton North 25-11, 25-6: Thomas Jaeschke had eight kills, two blocks and five aces in the No. 1 WW South (23-0, 7-0 DuPage Valley) win.

Lincoln-Way East d. Joliet Central 25-9, 25-9: Kevin McClafferty had six kills and four digs in the No. 3 Lincoln-Way East (19-3) win.

Benet d, Joliet Catholic 25-16, 25-18: Bobby Wehrli had 11 kills, Luke Ladowski had four kills and Sawyer Yazel had two kills, four blocks and four aces in the No. 11 Benet win.

Highland Park d. Deerfield 20-25, 25-20, 25-23: Dustin Borenstein totaled 12 kills, four blocks, an ace and nine digs for Highland Park (10-7).

Lincoln Park d. Young 28-26, 23-25, 25-22: Rafal Ciolosc had 12 kills for Lincoln Park (10-2, 6-1 Gold).

Lincoln-Way West d. Homewood-Flossmoor 25-16, 25-23: Dave O’Brien had 12 kills and nine digs while Alex Root had eight kills for Lincoln-Way West.

Loyola d. Brother Rice 25-22, 25-18: David Wieczorek and Sean Barry each had eight kills for Loyola (14-5).

Niles West d. New Trier 25-21, 25-19: Nathan Celinski and Daniel Gillespie each had six kills for Niles West (12-10).

Plainfield Central d. Romeoville 25-19, 25-21: Cody Swanson had seven kills and Mike Rossmiller had four aces for Plainfield Central.

Plainfield South d. Oswego 25-10, 25-20: Tillman Hartell had eight kills and Mike Pikuza had three aces for Plainfield South (12-5-1).

St. Charles North d. Elgin 25-13, 25-18: Branden Hoerner had eight kills, two aces, three blocks and five digs for the North Stars.

St. Viator d. Nazareth 25-17, 25-16: Austin Ziakas had seven kills while Ryan Schiller and Matt Michalik both had six for the Lions.
