Alcott d. Orr 25-13, 25-9: Allen Loggins nailed five kills for Alcott (1-0).

Chicagoland Jewish d. St. Gregory 25-15, 25-23: Sam Botbol powered the Tigers to their first win with 10 kills and two blocks.

Foreman d. Farragut 25-17, 25-14: Oscar Ortega (eight kills) and Jessy Zuniga (seven kills) teamed up to lead the Hornets (3-0, 3-0 Green-North).

Richards d. Shepard 25-20, 25-17: Nick Costa drilled 14 kills and Ben Tocila added six in the South Suburban win for the Bulldogs (4-3, 2-0).
