Ag. Science d. Little Village 25-11, 25-20: Tim Johnson powered the Cyclone (2-0) attack with 10 kills. Pat Sullivan helped the cause with six kills.

Mundelein d. Hoffman Estates 21-25, 25-21, 15-11: Parker Tortorello had an impressive game with 15 kills while Blake Burton added seven kills at the Hoffman Estates Invite.

Mundelein d. West Chicago 25-12, 25-19: Parker Tortorello had another strong performance with 10 kills and four digs in the win for Mundelein.

Loyola d. Evanston 25-12, 25-14: The Ramblers (2-0) knocked off the Wildkits thanks to Chris Bulava's nine kills and three aces. Mario Asencio finished with 14 assists.

Neuqua Valley d. St. Charles North 22-25, 25-15, 25-20: Neuqua Valley was led by Connor Richardson's seven kills and nine blocks. Jake Gerald added nine kills and three digs while Ryan Cahill added 31 assists.
