Carmel d. Lakes 25-19, 25-23: The Corsairs (1-0) were led by Henry Dominicis (five kills), Anthony Rengers (four kills), Mark Campbell (eight assists) and Graham Misak (three digs).

Foreman d. Sullivan 25-13, 25-23: Juan Mendoza had 12 assists, Tyrone Fuentes had 16 kills and David Garfias had 17 digs to lead Foreman.

Lincoln-Way Central d. Joliet Catholic 25-18, 25-16: Clay Hermann and Austin Overby each had five kills to lead Lincoln-Way Central. Cobi Christiansen added seven digs and Matt Clark also tallied 14 assists.

Oak Forest d. Homewood-Flossmoor 25-9, 25-23: Danny Lyons paced Oak Forest with six kills and 11 digs while Kevin Staehlin had 11 assists.

Plainfield South d. Joliet West 25-23, 25-21: Tillman Hartnell had seven kills and three aces to lead Plainfield South while Zach Berta notched five kills.

St. Francis d. Glenbard North 25-21, 25-20: Tim Olsen had five kills and two blocks for St. Francis (1-0) while Robert Smith added 10 assists and Joseph Santos had eight digs.

Waubonsie Valley d. West Aurora 25-22, 25-27, 25-23: Michael Storm led Waubonsie Valley (1-0) with 18 kills. Michael Simmons added 17 kills, Tyler House had seven kills and Luke Furman added 49 assists.
