TEAM ROSE CLASSIC

Curie 69, Decatur MacArthur 41: The Condors (4-0) dominated the second half in the Team Rose Classic at Collins behind Jibreel Jackson (15 points), Cliff Alexander (11 points, four blocks) and Devin Foster 12 points. Ten players scored for Curie.

Farragut 67, Riverside-Brookfield 53: For one half, Bulldogs big man Miki Ljuboja (14 points, 13 rebounds) had R-B hanging around with the Admirals (3-3) but an explosive fourth quarter from Farragut senior Rashaun Stimage ended that.

The 6-8 senior scored 12 of his game-high 19 points in the fourth, including a string of 10 consecutive points. Stimage also had nine rebounds. Lavell Boyd scored 17 for Farragut and John Carter added 11 points. Deonte Terrell contributed nine points, six rebounds and four blocks.

Damonta Henry led Riverside-Brookfield (5-3) with 15 points and Luke Nortier added 15 points and six boards.

Marshall 81, Providence-St. Mel 55: Marshall senior Milton Doyle gained a lofty reputation over the summer, and the 6-4 senior more than lived up to billing in his first major local appearance, scoring 27 points and grabbing nine rebounds. He shot 9-for-13 from the field and made 4-of-5 threes.

Marshall took control with a 12-3 run to open the second half. Derrick Miles and Tony Lewis each scored 10 points for the Commandos (6-1).

Junior guard Khalil Small led the Knights (7-2) with 20 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Tevin King added 14 points and eight rebounds.

Von Steuben 54, Collins 44: Te’Andre Dailey (14 points) and Demetrius Faulkner (13) combined to lead the Panthers.
