Bloom 51, Mount Carmel 42: Donald Moore scored 12 points and Dejahown added 10 points as Bloom (3-0) bested the Caravan.

Thornwood 62, South Shore 31: Johnte Shannon (21 points) and Khapri Alston (14 points) set the tone for the victorious Thunderbirds.

CLEMENTE

Austin 41, Juarez 23: Desmond Bryant scored 16 poins and snared nine rebounds for Austin (2-0). Jeralmie Garmon chipped in nine points.

CRETE-MONEE

Andrew 52, Oak Lawn 32: The No. 16 Thunderbolts (3-0) rolled past Oak Lawn as Jubril Adekoya led the way with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Mike Bobek played a solid floor game with six points, four assists and three steals.

Crete-Monee 51, Oak Forest 48: Marvie Keith scored 22 points and handed out five assists as No. 11 Crete-Monee (2-1) avoided the upset. Marius Hopkins added 12 points and seven boards for the Warriors.

Evanston 62, Payton 20: Josh Irving scored 11 points as the Wildkits (3-0) remained unbeaten.

Notre Dame 47, Taft 32: Joe Ferrici put up 16 points and 11 rebounds to lift the Dons past Taft.

Zion-Benton 56, Lane 33: Malik Yarbrough scored 15 points to lift the Zee-Bees over the host Indians.

Seton 67, Cahokia 59: Mark Weems led Seton with 21 points and six rebounds, while teammate Jordan Foster also played well offensively scoring 13 points for Seton.

New Trier 48, Loyola 25: The No. 17 Trevians knocked off rival Loyola as Connor Boehm scored 14 points and Austin Angel added 12 points. Steven Cook chipped in nine points.

NORTHRIDGE

Ridgewood 65, Evergreen Park 49: Andy Mazurczak scored 19 points and Pete Mroz added 15 points for the Rebels (2-1).

MAINE WEST

Libertyville 61, Anitoch 51: Ellis Matthews netted 24 points for unbeaten Libertyville (2-0).

Maine South 56, Perspectives-Calumet 39: John Solari paced the Hawks (2-1) with 18 points and six rebounds.

NILES WEST

Glenbrook North 67, Hersey 39: Andrew McAuliffe scored 24 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to power the Spartans (2-0) to victory. Kurt Karis had 19 points and five assists, while Mark Johnson contributed 12 points and five boards.

OSWEGO/NAPERVILLE NORTH

De La Salle 84, De Kalb 41: Alvin Ellis paced the No. 6 Meteors with a team-high 23 points. 6-7 center Alex Foster (11 points, six rebounds) and Kenyon Gist (11 points) also played well for De La Salle (3-0).

Geneva 60, Marmion 44: Brendan Leahy scored 19 points and Connor Chapman added 11 points for the Vikings. Colin Kavanaugh had 12 points for Marmion.

Naperville Central 73, Oswego 69: The RedHawks moved to 3-0 courtesy of strong scoring efforts from Nick Czarnowski (24 points) and Jabari Hartfield (15 points).

PALATINE

Niles North 56, Wheaton North 52: Malachi Nix dropped 29 points on the Falcons. Badral Enkh-Ulzil notched nine points and nine boards for Niles North (2-0).

REAVIS

Addison Trail 65, Kennedy 23: Jordan Garcia had 12 points for the Blazers (2-0).

Reavis 48, Little Village 41: Rick Bal scored 19 points for Reavis (2-0).

RIVERSIDE-BROOKFIELD

Brother Rice 66, Urban Prep 51: The Crusaders (2-0) were led by frontline stars Alex Majewski and Garrett O'Neill, who scored 13 points apiece.

ST. CHARLES EAST

Plainfield East 66, Downers South 57: Austin Robinson had a big game scoring 25 points for Plainfield North (2-0). Dee Brown added 17 points.

SANDWICH

Newark 67, Sandwich 39: Brett Anderson scored 25 points as Newark beat the host Indians.

Yorkville 72, Serena 33: The Foxes cruised by Serena featuring a balanced scoring attack led by Cody Bailey's 16 points. Stephen Jones scored 12 points and Derek Piszczek pitched in 11 points.

STAGG
Lindblom 59, Willowbrook 46: Ervin Stanford and Deshante Dunning contributed 16 points and 14 points, respectively, to help the Eagles (1-2) earn their first win this season.

Stagg 62, St. Laurence 43: Steve Kubiak had 18 points and Kamil Barnas tallied 17 points and eight rebounds for Stagg (2-0).

VOCATIONAL

Schurz 59, ACE Tech 51: Deven Wethers scored 13 points and dished out five assists for Schurz (2-1). Anton Amison chipped in 11 points and five steals.

Vocational 78, Hubbard 38: Led by Robert Hurd's 23 points, the host Cavaliers (3-0) overpowered the Greyhounds. Michael Rollins also contributed with 12 points and nine rebounds.

WESTMINSTER CHRISTIAN

Immaculate Conception 76, Alden-Hebron 37: The Knights moved to 2-0 on the season behind John Cheng's 14 points and Demetrius Carr's 12 points.

St. Edward 71, Elgin Academy 39: The Green Wave coasted to victory behind 22 points from Eddie O'Halloran. Zack McQueen scored nine points and Doug Johnson had eight points.

Plainfield Central 48, Joliet Catholic 36: Zach Warner's 15 points sparked Plainfield Central (1-1).

Providence 50, Joliet Central 44: The Celtics (1-1) were led by Mike Marietti's 15 points and eight rebounds.

Belvidere North 50, Marian Central 47: Quinten Canty scored 11 points and Kane Steger added nine points for Belvidere North.
