Providence 6, St. Rita 2: The No.5 Celtics (16-6) knocked of St. Rita behind six solid innings from Brady Wilkin (3-0). He allowed two earned runs and two hits while striking out six. Kenny King had a monster game with a homer and five RBI. Brandon Boggetto added an RBI.

Marist 5, Marian Catholic 4: The No.11 RedHawks earned the win thanks to a complete game from Joe Woodward (5 H, 4 R, 2 K). Mike Hearne and Cody Bohanek powered the offense, each finishing an impressive 3-for-4.

Hersey 5, Wheeling 0: Brad Moore (2-0) pitched the No.17 Huskies to the win over Wheeling. Moore went six innings, giving up two hits and racking up eight K's. Tyler Perkowitz finished 2-for-3, hitting two doubles and knocking in three RBI.

Andrew 7, Thornton 3: Pat McKeown (4-0) allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out six in six innings of work for Andrew (16-6).

De La Salle 7, St. Ignatius 3: The Meteors were led by Ricardo Ramirez's pitching and strong offensive performances from Pat Hughes (2-for-3, 2 RBI) and Scott McGurn (2-for-3, 2B).

Corliss 6, King 2: Deonta Branch (7-2) threw a complete game for Corliss (16-8, 6-2 Ernie Banks), striking out 11. Cyntrell Dyson went 2-for-3, with a double and two RBI.

Fenwick 4, St. Joseph 3: The Friars were led by Paul O'Toole's double and three RBI.

Glenbrook North 5, Jacobs 3: Dan Jankelow pitched the Spartans to their 16th win of the season.

Hoffman Estates 8, Barrington 1: The Hawks won thanks to Jimmy Ward's seven-hitter, which included three strikeouts. Justin Frame was 3-for-4.

Homewood-Flossmoor 5, Joliet West 4: Teddy Romas helped the Vikings (15-5, 4-2 SouthWest Suburban Blue) edge Joliet West. Romas (2-0) went five innings and struck out five. Danny Lietz picked up the save in two innings of work, striking out five. He also hit a home run.

Lake View 2, Mather 0: Adam Rivera dominated from the mound for Lake View (7-12, 3-5 Jackie Robinson North), going seven innings and fanning 14 while giving up just two hits.

Lane 4, Northside 2: Jack McLaughlin (4-4) pitched six innings and struck out five for the Indians. Dylan Smith picke up the save and Ari Harris knocked in three RBI while Will Munoz added one RBI.

Lincoln-Way East 4, Joliet Catholic 1: Mark Chemello (5-1) was lights out, allwing just three hits and no walks while striking out five in the win for the Griffins (12-7).

Lincoln-Way North 5, Bradley-Bourbonnais 1: Jake McCabe earned the win, going all sever and allowing just one earned run while sitting down eight hitters.

Little Village 3, Hubbard 1: Pepe Reyes threw a complete game, giving up just one run and striking out seven for Little Village. Luis Brizuela went 2-for-3 and scored a run.

Naperville North 6, West Chicago 5: Tyler Hogan (3-for-3) helped the Huskies (11-11) edge West Chicago. KevinWalsh earned the win.

Perspectives-Calumet 11, Fenger 5: Robert Robinson helped Perspectives-Calumet (9-13, 5-3 Ernie Banks) get the win as he last five ininings, allowing two earned runs and three hits while fanning three. He was also 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI.

Plainfield Central 11, Oswego East 4: Eric DeLoach hit a two-run homer for Plainfield Central.

Ridgewood 5, Elmwood Park 4: Christian Morris hit a game-winning two-run single to lift Ridgewood to the win.

Sandburg 4, Lockport 3: Eagles soared past Lockport behind Matt Farrington (4-1), who fanned five while not allowing an earned run. Alec Nelson did damage from the plate, finishing 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

Schurz 11, North Lawndale 0: Francisco Garcia (1-0) went six innings in a three-hit, four-strikeout performance. Xavier Ramos was perfect from the plate, going 4-for-4 with two RBI.

Simeon 7, Harlan 2: The Wolverines (16-6, 6-1 Jackie Robinson South) cruised past Harlan as Darius Day went all seven innings, giving up two hits and striking out nine. Marshawn Taylor knocked in two RBI and Corey Ray finished 1-for-3 with a double.

St. Francis de Sales 4, Leo 0: St. Francis de Sales (8-8, 2-3 Catholic Red) shut out Leo as Colton Lopez threw a complete game and allowed three hits while striking out 14. Kemari Simmons had a big game, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Michael Roggenkamp finished 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored.

Stagg 5, Lincoln-Way West 0: Steve Kubiak (1-3) pitched a complete game for Stagg (11-10, 4-2 SouthWest Suburban Red), allowing five hits and finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI. Mike Farnan went 2-for-3 with a triple.

Taft 3, Clemente 2: Matt Griffith helped Taft (19-2, 5-2 Jackie Robinson North) edge Clemente, throwing a complete game, scattering nine hits and striking out three. Ray Cekus finished 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Thornwood 13, Thornridge 7: Devon Willingham earned the win for Thornwood as Malcolm Bledsoe scored three runs.

Washington 14, Lindblom 0: Washington crushed Lindblom as John Perez went 2-for-3, with two triples and four RBI. He also scored two runs. Adrian Luna (4-1) earned the win, striking out eight and finishing 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Young 2, Jones 0: Daniel Villados did not allow a hit in seven dominating innings of work, including nine strikeouts. The win improved the Dolphins' record to 15-8 overall, 6-2 in the Jackie Robinson South.
