Simeon 9, Curie 3: Darius Day was 3-for-4 with two RBI, Corey Ray was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Shane Brown hit a two-run double for No. 13 Simeon (14-5, 4-1 Jackie Robinson South).

Maine South 11, Waukegan 3: Nick Mitrovich went 3-for-4, slapping three doubles and scoring three runs. Jimmy Frankos was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored for No. 20 Maine South (14-3, 5-0 Central Suburban South). John Forsythe (3-1) logged the win.

Aurora Christian 14, Newark 0: Josh Haugen was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored for Aurora Christian (13-5, 5-2 Suburban Christian Gold). Zach Calamos allowed no hits in five innings from the mound.

Barrington 5, Wheeling 1: Ryan Lidge was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI while Frank Waliczek was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Barrington (13-5, 4-2 Mid-Suburban West) at the plate. Max Redpath (2-0) allowed three hits in a complete-game win.

Cary-Grove 4, Crystal Lake South 2: Winning pitcher Ryan Kaveney (6-0) gave up two runs on three hits and had seven K's. Daniel Villardo was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Cary-Grove (13-6).

Clemente 13, Von Steuben 4: Jerry Figueroa was 4-for-4 with four doubles and Anthony Justiniano pitched six innings, striking out eight for the win.

Corliss 13, Linblom 0: Deonta Branch went five innings and gave up no hits while striking out 12 and going 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate. Eric Hawkins was 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI for Corliss (14-8, 4-2 Ernie Banks).

Fremd 11, Elk Grove 2: Tim Polak led the Vikings offensively with three hits including a double along with three RBI and a run scored. Jason English allowed two earned runs and scattered six hits while fanning eight hitters to claim the win.

Herscher 7, Plano 2: Dalton Stroul was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI while winning pitcher Jordan Ruckman (3-0) went five innings, gave up two hits and struck out 10 for Herscher (19-4, 5-1 Interstate Eight).

Oak Forest 2, Lincoln-Way North 0: Kyle Funkhouser struck out 15 and gave up two hits in a complete-game win for Oak Forest (15-4).

Perspectives-Calumet 14, Bowen 4: Steven Robinson went six innings and gave up just one earned run for Perspectives-Calumet (7-12, 3-3 Ernie Banks).

St. Francis 19, Aurora Central 9: David Fisher was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Josh Croci was 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored for St. Francis (11-9, 5-4 Suburban Christian Blue).

Schurz 3, Chicago Academy 1, 8 inn.: Johny Salazar struck out 10 and gave up no earned runs while pitching a complete game. Francisco Garcia was 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Wilmington 5, Seneca 2: Winning pitcher Trae Berndt went the distance giving up eight hits with five strikeouts. Brennan Bryan was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI.
