Andrew 3, Sandburg 2: Dan Durkin came through for Andrew (6-1) with the game-winning RBI.
Bolingbrook 12, Oswego 9: The Raiders were led by Tevin Brown’s three RBI and three runs scored. Trent Smith also had three RBI and scored a run.
Geneva 9, Marmion 3: Home runs from Matt Williams and Matt Brandys helped Geneva move past Marmion.
Herscher 11, Cissna Park 0: Dalton Sproul knocked in two of Herscher’s (7-3) 11 runs in a 2-for-3 effort.
Naperville North 10, Downers South 0: Colin Ash pitched Naperville North (3-4) to the win, going five innings and allowing no hits. Mick Solak also had a big day, finishing 3-for-3 with two triples and two RBI.
Nazareth 9, Pleasant Plains 1: The No.20 Roadrunners cruised past Pleasant Plains with a six-hit, 11-strikeout complete game. Ryan Marske sparked the bats, finishing 3-for-4 with a homer and five RBI. Tim Dalporto went 3-for-4.
Niles West 7, Rolling Meadows 6: The Wolves (7-1) moved past Rolling Meadows behind Kyle Colleta’s 6 innings and seven strikeouts. He was also 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Kevin Ross was an impressive 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, four RBI, and three runs scored.
Oswego East 10, Plano 0: Andy Jaskolwski hit a home run and finished 3-for-3 in the Panthers' demolition of Plano. Chris Cooper added to the onslaught with two RBI.
Peotone 14, Seneca 0: Peotone’s John Swisher punched out 15 batters and allowed just two hits.
St. Joseph 10, Proviso West 0: Edgar Donato (2-0) went five innings, allowing two hits and striking out six. Mike Pugliuco had an offensive explosion with a 3-for-5, four-RBI performance.
Riverside-Brookfield 11, Elmwood Park 2: Ryan Brown guided the Bulldogs (3-3) to the win, going six innings and giving up just six hits while striking out three. Will Kincanon went 3-for-4 with three RBI while Alex Spirius knocked in two RBI.
Richards 13, Simeon 3: The Bulldogs upset No. 8 Simeon thanks to Jim Augle’s three RBI and three runs scored. Joe Hicks finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
