Guerin 11, Steinmetz 1: Pitcher Matt Klich went five innings, giving up one earned run and two hits while fanning five to earn the win for Guerin (1-0). Mike Marra was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBI. Andrew Rangel also went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Lincoln-Way Central 4, Romeoville 2: Winning pitcher Matt Doherty (1-0) went three and 2/3 innings and struck out six. Matt Filkins was 2-for-3, with three walks and a run scored.

Montini 10, Northridge Prep 0: Winning pitcher Ben Dobosenski went four innings, striking out eight, while allowing just two hits in the Montini (1-0) season opener.
