Boys Soccer: Round Lake’s Jordi Rubio signs with Trinity Christian

Wednesday was a huge day for Round Lake senior Jordi Rubio. A standout soccer player, Jordi signed a letter of intent to play next year at Trinity Christian College in south suburban Palos Heights.

Trinity Christian competes in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and nationally at the NAIA level and National Christian College Athletic Association level.

Last fall, Jordi made the North Suburban All-Conference Team in soccer and also was chosen for some all-state teams. The school he’ll play for next year is called the Trolls.
