Football: Lake Forest Academy’s Faith Ekakitie commits to Iowa

Faith Ekakitie, who was one of the most sought after Division I football recruits in Lake County, has decided to take his game to the Big Ten.
The Lake Forest Academy two-way lineman has made a verbal commitment to the University of Iowa.
The 6-foot-2, 275-pounder finished the season with impressive numbers: 56 tackles, 11 sacks, 19 tackles for loss, an interception, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries.
The Canadian-born Ekakitie also is a member of the LFA basketball team.
