LJ Peak, one of the top shooting guards in the country, has transferred from Gaffney High School in South Carolina and enrolled at Young, Gaffney Athletic Director Mark Huff told the Spartanburg Herald-Journal.
Gaffney, a rising junior, won two state titles at Gaffney and averaged 17.5 points last season.
Scout.com ranks Peak as the No. 49 player in the class of 2014, behind Young's Jahlil Okafor at No. 4 and Paul White at No. 46.
Clemson, Georgetown, Marquette, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee are all recruiting Peak.
