CLASS 3A REGIONAL FINALS

ANTIOCH

Grayslake North 14, Lakes 4: The Knighs overpowered Lakes with seven runs in the second inning and five runs in the third inning en route to capturing the Antioch Regional title. Kelsey Borders led the 13-hit parade with a grand slam, two doubles and seven RBI. Jordan Bowen added two hits and four RBI, while Nikki Livengood and Marli Kram both finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Winning pitcher Kristi Gandy struck out three.

ROCKFORD BOYLAN

Marengo 10, Rockford Boylan 0: Stephanie Cartwright went 1-for-2 with four RBI to lead No. 7 Marengo (32-5) past the Titans. Abby Kissack also paced the offense, finishing 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs scored.

CLASS 1A SUPERSECTIONAL

Tuscola 2, Dwight 1: Erin Gaston was the tough luck loser allowing only an earned run and three hits against Tuscola. Sarah Butterfield knocked in Dwight's lone run with a double and Jessie Butterfield went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
