CLASS 4A REGIONAL FINALS

RICHARDS

Richards 4, Stagg 2: Nicole Ellement was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored while Breanna Kaminski was 1-for-4 with an RBI for Richards (30-4).

FENWICK

Lane 4, Fenwick 2: Kaleigh Ambrose gave up four hits and struck out six in a complete-game win for Lane (26-11). Emily Espinosa was 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored.

CARMEL

Carmel 2, Mundelein 0: Nicole Bitter pitched a complete game and Jenny Behan went yard.

GENEVA

West Chicago 2, Downers North 1, 13 inn.: Katie Wiest went the distance for West Chicago.

NEW TRIER

New Trier 6, Glenbrook South 0: Molly Morrison had two RBI and Kelly Schady was 2-for-3 with an RBI for New Trier (30-5).

BURLINGTON CENTRAL

Burlington Central 19, DeKalb 18: Emily Bell went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and Bekah Harnish was 4-for-5 with a two-run home run as Burlington Central edged DeKalb in the barn burner.

BREMEN

Oak Forest 7, Bremen 0: Emily Larsen struck out 12 in a complete game-win for Oak Forest (24-12). Jourdan Skirha was 3-for-4 with an RBI.

QUEEN OF PEACE

Glenbard South 12, Queen of Peace 0: Danielle Chitkowski had a homer and three RBI, Taryn Andros had a homer and two RBI and Stephanie Chitkowski gave up two hits through five innings to pick up the win for Glenbard South.

NAZARETH

Nazareth 10 Evergreen Park 0: Cat Usher had a home run and four RBI to lead the Roadrunners.

RIVERSIDE-BROOKFIELD

Riverside-Brookfield 11, Kennedy 0: Becky Mantel hit a two-run home run, Kiley Rusen had a triple and two RBI and Emily Hastings added two RBI as well. Kylie O’Connell (19-7) struck out nine on the way to a complete-game win.
