Mundelein 4, New Trier 1: Jared Mandel had three strikeouts in six innings pitched to earn the win for No. 4 Mundelein (31-4), and Torr Randau was 1-for-3 with a triple.
Stevenson 3, Benet 2: Scott Irving had three strikeouts and gave up three hits in the win for Stevenson (20-13).

Simeon 2, Lane 1: Shane Brown (7-1) starred for No. 16 Simeon (27-7), finishing with 13 strikeouts in a complete game, walking two, giving up three hits. He was was 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Schurz 5, Steinmetz 2: Alberto Torres gave up two earned runs in six innings pitched for Schurz (19-9).
BUFFALO GROVE
Buffalo Grove 4, Wheeling 0: Robert Hawkins struck out eight and gave up four hits in a complete game for Buffalo Grove (15-21).
BOGAN
Proviso East 11, Bogan 1: Nate Reese had five strikeouts and gave up one hit to lead Proviso East (2-23). Reggie Osborn (2-for-4, three RBI), Tyler Bradshaw (three hits, one RBI) and Matt Williams (3-for-3) sparked the offense.
EISENHOWER
Eisenhower 8, Thornwood 3: Justin Longoria (2-3) struck out four and gave up three hits and one earned run in a complete game for Eisenhower (7-25).
PLAINFIELD CENTRAL
Plainfield Central 5, Joliet Central 2: Mark DeYoung (5-1) had three strikeouts and gave up three hits and no earned runs to pick up the win for Plainfield Central. He also had one double and two RBI to push the offense along wth Blake Kerrich (1-for-2, one RBI, one run scored) and Jack Schanks (2-for-3, one RBI).

Rich East 16, Fenger 0: Darrius Gilbert powered Rich East (14-15) going 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, four runs scored and four RBI to power Rich East (14-15).
