Maine South 12, St. Ignatius 4: Mike Virgilio (7-0) went four innings, gave up three hits and struck out six for No. 7 Maine South (29-4).

Marist 5, Downers South 4: Ryan Meyer was 2-for-3 with four RBI for No. 16 Marist (24-11).

Crete-Monee 13, Lincoln-Way West 7: Jonathan Fasel was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI while Cameron Bass was 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored for Crete-Monee (22-11).

Downers North 8, Hinsdale South 0: Matt Underdown shut down Downers North, striking out five in a no-hitter. James Sheldon was 2-for-4 with two RBI for Downers North (20-14).

Glenbrook North 11, Libertyville 4: Brad Margolin was 4-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored, Chad Bruce was 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored and Jason Scholl was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored for Glenbrook North (24-11).

Hinsdale Central 4, Metea Valley 3, 8 inn: Jay Richards knocked in the game-winning run for Hinsdale Central.

Leyden 6, Elmwood Park 4:
Angel Sanchez struck out eight to pick up the win. Brennan Chillemi was 1-for-2 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored for Leyden (17-15).

Lincoln-Way East 7, Joliet Catholic 2: Bobby Kosola had two RBI for Lincoln-Way East (19-12).

Montini 5, Minooka 3: Chris Bartosz gave up four hits in six innings pitched. Brendan Loftus was 2-for-3 with a three-run double for Montini (18-16).

GORDON TECH

Gordon Tech 7, Latin 0: Dakota Pisarek gave up two hits and struck out nine through six innings to pick up the win. Adam Vignola was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Gordon Tech (20-17).

NORTH SHORE

North Shore 5, Northridge 4, 8 inn.: Chris McCarren was 2-for-4 with two RBI and Matt Toughy (3-0) pitched three innings without giving up an earned run to get the win for North Shore (15-2).

GARDNER-SOUTH WILMINGTON

Illinois Lutheran 5, Gardner-South Wilmington 0: Jayson Williams was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, Dylan Kish was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Jared Buzan was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.
