Lincoln-Way East d. Lincoln-Way West 25-15, 25-14: Jason Garnett and Kevin McClafferty had four kills each and Austin Royer had 14 assists as No. 3 Lincoln-Way East (32-3) cruised.

Loyola d. Notre Dame 25-23, 25-19: Chris Bulava had 17 kills for Loyola (23-7).

Maine South d. New Trier 25-13, 25-22: Mike Hopkins (eight kills, three blocks) and Matt Garvey (22 assists) led the way for Maine South (20-9).

MID-SUBURBAN LEAGUE

Barrington d. Buffalo Grove 25-18, 25-17, title: Jeff Hochstein (eight kills), Charlie Spry (six kills, two blocks), Tommy Leonard (five kills, three blocks) and Taylor Ganzer (27 assists) helped No. 8 Barrington (27-6) claim the title.
