Glenbard North 8, Wheaton North 0: Lilly Fecho (22-2) had nine strikeouts in a complete game for No.2 Glenbard North (29-2, 11-2 DuPage Valley). She walked two and gave up one hit in the process.

Andrew 11, T.F. South 0: Brooke Hofer (20-4) struck out 10 in five hitless innings of work for No. 5 Andrew (27-4). Caitlyn Migawa (three-run homer) and Gabby D'Oronzo (2-for-3, two RBI) helped out offensively.

New Trier 4, Loyola 2: Megan Neuhause was 2-for-3 with one RBI and Eileen Hurley had a double and one RBI to help No. 10 New Trier (26-4) slide past Loyola.

Fremd 6, Schaumburg 4: Megan Hubbard was 2-for-4 with one home run for No. 19 Fremd (25-7).

Barrington 8, Palatine 3: Maggie O'Hara (3-for-4, one double, one RBI) and Ally McLaughlin (3-for-5, one run scored) led the way for Barrington (27-7, 11-5 Mid-Suburban West).

Clemente 9, Brooks 4: Nalanee Calderon (3-for-4, two RBI, two runs scored) and Sydalia Calderon (3-for-4, five RBI, two runs scored) led the way for Clemente (7-10).

Crystal Lake Central 16, Hampshire 2: Meghan Mahaffy was 3-for-5 with one triple, five RBI and two runs scored for Crystal Lake Central.

Downers South 5, Morton 0: Alicia Bozek gave up five hits en route to earning the win for Downers South (22-9, 9-2 West Suburban Gold). Jessie Andee (3-for-4) and Katy LaCivita (2-for-3, two-run double) led the offense.

Elmwood Park 12, Fenton 2: Gabby Uvelli struck out seven and gave up two hits in a complete game for Elmwood Park (14-13, 7-4 Metro Suburban). She was also 1-for-2 with a two-run homer, and Becky Gruber was 3-for-4 with two doubles, one home run and three RBI to carry the offense.

Glenbard West 4, Oak Park-River Forest 1: Taylor Langtry (14-6) struck out two and gave up five hits in the win for Glenbard West (19-12, 10-1 West Suburban Silver). Kelly Borneman (2-for-4, two runs scored) and Jacklyn Tyburk provided the offense for the Hilltoppers.

Grayslake North 13, Woodstock North 0: Kristina Gandy struck out five in the win for Grayslake North (21-8-1). Kelsey Borders (3-for-4, two doubles, four RBI) and Nikki Livengood (2-for-4, two RBI) supplied some of the offense.

Montini 6, Guerin 2: Alex Dewey (2-for-3) and Marie Kalas (2-for-2, one double, two RBI) led the way for Montini (19-11, 12-4 Suburban Catholic).

Oak Forest 8, Bradley-Bourbonnais 4: Emily Naegele (3-for-4, one home run, two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored) carried the load for Oak Forest (20-11).

Oswego 7, Rosary 3: Jess Clark had four strikeouts in a complete game for Oswego. Steph Prentice (3-for-4, one double, three runs scored) and Briandi Riess (one triple, one RBI) led the offensive attack.

Riverside-Brookfield 9, De La Salle 2: Kylie O'Connell (15-6) was the winning pitcher and Kelly Ely was 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored for Riverside-Brookfield (19-7).

St. Charles North 2, Trinity 1: Sabrina Rabin (10-4) had three strikeouts and gave up one earn in a complete game for St. Charles North (17-12). Emily Brodner (2-for-3, one RBI) was key in the offense.

Waubonsie Valley 3, Bartlett 0: Katie Benson (2-for-3, one home run, three RBI) supplied all the offense Waubonsie Valley (22-6) would need.

Yorkville 12, St. Francis 10: Rachel Owens struck out one and gave up 12 hits in a complete game for Yorkville. Keidie Dockstader was 3-for-4 with two RBI.

PUBLIC LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Kennedy 13, North Grand 1: Nicole Radtke had five strikeouts and gave up two hits on the way to picking up the win for Kennedy (14-4). She was also 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Samatha Sizemore was 1-for-1 with one run scored in the rout.

Lincoln Park 5, Payton 2: Amanda Ramirez had six strikeouts in a complete game effort for Lincoln Park (14-5).

Young 10, Amundsen 0: Nikki Pietrus hit a grand slam for Young (12-16).

CLASS 2A REGIONAL QUARTERFINALS

LUTHER NORTH

Luther North 16, Willows 2, 5 inn.: Jessie Sobecki was the winning pitcher and Kaitlyn Stetson was 3-for-3 with two RBI to carry Luther North (8-16).

NEWARK

Newark 8, Marquette 5: Deanna Drew was 3-for-3 with three RBI to lead Newark.

TEPEYAC

Holy Trinity 28, Our Lady of Tepeyac 7: Corina Lopez (3-for-4, grand slam, five RBI), Yocelyn Bello (4-for-6, seven RBI) and Janice Santa (2-for-3, one home run, three RBI) led Holy Trinity (3-9) in their offensive outburst.
