Mundelein 6, Stevenson 3: Jared Mandel had eight strikeouts in six innings pitched for No. 5 Mundelein (26-4, 10-1 North Suburban). Chris Maranto (two-run homer) and Brian Wiener (2-for-3, one double) helped supply some offense.
Mount Carmel 5, St. Rita 4: TJ Laurisch (9-2) gave up five hits in a complete game for No. 6 Mount Carmel (26-4, 12-4 Catholic Blue). Beau Wilkins was 2-for-3 with one RBI and Dan Pappas was 2-for-3 with one double and two runs scored.
Maine South 7, Niles West 1: Patrick Aloisio (9-0) walked one, giving up five hits and one earned run in seven innings of work for No. 7 Maine South (25-4, 14-1 Central Suburban League South). Keenan Kelly (3-for-4,. three doubles, one run scored, three RBI) and Jimmy Frankos (2-for-4, two doubles, two runs scored, two RBI) led the way on offense.
Crete-Monee 10, Rich South 0: Mike Wojtanowski pitched a no-hitter through five innings for Crete-Monee (20-10, 13-1 Southland):, finishing with seven strikeouts.
De La Salle 5, Gordon 1: Anthony Shimkus (6-3) was the winning pitcher, while Scott McGurn and Glenn Kubek were each 2-for-3 with two-run homers to lead De La Salle (21-10).
Glenbrook South 13, Evanston 2: Max Cohen was 4-for-4 with four RBI to help lead the Glenbrook South (21-8) charge.
Hoffman Estates 3, Elk Grove 0: Mark Roberts struck out nine and gave up five hits in a complete game for Hoffman Estates.
Oak Lawn 7, Argo 2: Alex Barnhart (1-for-3, three-run double) and Kyle Smith (1-for-3, two-run home run) carried the offense for Oak Lawn (19-10, 13-4 South Suburban Red).
Oak Park-River Forest 13, Proviso West 0: Colin O'Brien pitched a complete game one-hitter for Oak Park-River Forest, finishing with 11 strikeouts.
Plainfield Central 10, Metea Valley 4: Steve Heffernan (4-for-4, one RBI, two runs scored), Joe Sparacio (2-for-4, one home run, four RBI) and Mike Bentson (2-for-4, two RBI) supplied the offense for Plainfield Central.
Richards 11, Reavis 5: Jake Kendryna (3-1) pitched three hitless innings to pick up the win for Richards (20-11, 15-3 South Suburban Red). Chris Elliot was 3-for-4 with one run scored.
Sandburg 13, Rich Central 1: Zach Reks was 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI, and Dylan Rajkovich was 2-for-3 with one RBI for Sandburg in the rout.
Shepard 5, Eisenhower 3: Jeremy Dryier starred for Shepard (16-13, 11-7 South Suburban Red) finishing with 11 strikeouts as the winning pitcher, and going 2-for-3 from behind the plate, with two triples and three RBI.
PUBLIC LEAGUE PLAYOFFS
Curie 9, Little Village 3: Adam Sanchez was the winning pitcher. Alex Oceguera (1-for-2, two RBI, one scored) and Jose Hernandez (3-for-3, one run scored) assisted in carrying the Curie (11-16) offense.
Harlan 10, Kelly 0: Tyler Johnson was 2-for-2 with two runs scored, a stolen base and one RBI in the rout for Harlan (21-10).
Kenwood 10, Westinghouse 0: Paul Flores went the distance, struck out 10 and gave up just two hits in the win for Kenwood (13-14).
Lake View 4, Lincoln Park 3: Adam Rivera had eight strikeouts in six innings pitched, while Justin Montalvo supplied the game-winning home run for Lake View (10-19).
Lane 11, Steinmetz 1: Ricky Hernandez was 2-for-3 with three RBI and Alex Sheehan was 3-for-4 with two RBI to spark the offensive attack for Lane (18-12).
Morgan Park 12, Hubbard 2: Christian Lipscomb (2-1) walked two and struck out four in the win for Morgan Park (23-8). James Davison (3-for-3, two runs scored) and Rahman Williams (2-for-3, four RBI) helped spark their run production.
Payton 9, Washington 1: Sean Dyer pitched a complete game to pick up the win for Payton (12-18). Kyle Nolan and Ivan Chen were both 2-for-3 from behind the plate.
Simeon 13, Perspectives-MSA 0: Ro Coleman was 2-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored, and Terrance Robertston had a three-run triple, as Simeon (23-7) cruised to the win.
Taft 20, Wells 0: Scott Krawiec had a double and three runs scored, and Daniel Munoz was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Taft (26-4) in the rout.

Aurora Central 3, Seneca 0: Matt Miller had 11 strikeouts in a complete game for Aurora Central (13-17).
REED-CUSTER
Reed-Custer 15, Longwood 1: Cody Mass had three strikeouts and Ryan Johnson had a three-run homer to lead Reed-Custer (10-26).
HARPER
Linblom 10, Harper 0: Alan Gomez had 10 strikeouts and gave up just one hit in five innings pitched for Lindblom.
WESTMONT
Westmont 14, Chicago Academy 0: Brian Albaugh struck out five in a complete game for Westmont (9-18). Charlie Donovan was 2-for-4 with one double and two RBI.

St. Benedict 5, Christian Liberty 4: Raul Chavez pitched a complete game, surrendering three hits to nab the win for St. Benedict. He and Alex Alvarez, were both 2-for-3 from behind the plate.
