Maine South 9, Loyola 5: Jack Touhy struck out four through three innings to pick up the win. Lawrence Darmak was 2-for-2 with a double, RBI and three runs scored for No. 6 Maine South (23-4).
Ag. Science 18, Perspectives-Calumet 3: Ryan Kull was 3-for-3 with five RBI and Mike Cassidy was the winning pitcher for Ag. Science (21-8-1).
Bolingbrook 2, Homewood-Flossmoor 0: Steve Waldrop struck out 11 in a complete-game win for Bolingbrook (14-13).
Clemente 8, Lane 7: Anthony Justiniano (4-2) went three innings for the win. Yerbis Arias was 3-for-4, including the game-winning home run to go with another for a total of four RBI for Clemente (16-6 10-3 Jackie Robinson North).
Coal City 4, Manteno 3, 8 inn.: Brandon Tidaback (2-1) went two innings and gave up two hits while striking out four to earn the win for Coal City (21-11, 12-4 Interstate Eight).
Crete-Monee 6, Rich Central 5: Chris Cockle was 1-for-3 with a triple, RBI and a run scored for Crete-Monee (19-10, 12-1 Southland).
Curie 13, Brooks 3: John Lopez was 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored. Osvaldo Montoya was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Anthony Perez went five innings to pick up the win.
Foreman 11, Lincoln Park 10: Devante Love was 3-for-4 with four RBI for Foreman (11-10, 9-5 Jackie Robinson Central).
Fremd 8, Buffalo Grove 6: Keith Browning blasted a two-run shot and Jack Anderson (7-2) was the pitcher of record for Fremd (17-12, 10-5 Mid-Suburban West).
Herscher 14, Sandwich 1: Jordan Ruckman (5-1) struck out 10 and gave up just two hits while Dalton Sproul was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI as Herscher (27-7, 11-4 Interstate Eight) devoured Sandwich.
Hersey 7, Barrington 5: Aaron DeGeorbe went six 1/3 and James Ioratti was 2-for-4 with two RBI for Hersey (21-7, 10-5 Mid-Suburban East).
Lake View 7, Payton 1: Andre Herrera (1-2) struck out five in a complete-game win. Kevin Garcia, Justin Montalbo and Josh Rosas all had two hits for Lake View (9-18, 5-9 Jackie Robinson North).
Morgan Park 17, Kenwood 1: Marcellus Sneed went five innings and struck out eight. Reginald Rogers was 2-for-2 with three RBI and Rahman Williams was 2-for-3 with an RBI as Morgan Park (22-8, 10-4 Jackie Robinson South) manhandled Kenwood.
New Trier 11, Lake Forest 4: Winning pitcher Brady Arenson (4-0) went five innings, gave up three runs, three hits and struck out five. Matt Blanchard was 2-for-3 with three RBI for New Trier (17-9).
Oak Lawn 6, Eisenhower 5: Cody Quillen was 3-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases for Oak Lawn (18-9, 12-4 South Suburban Red).
Richards 12, Evergreen Park 0: Jim Wujcik was 2-for-3 with two triples, two RBI and two runs scored while Anthony Smith was 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored for Richards (18-11, 13-0 South Suburban Red). Tyler Fortier (3-1) went five innings, gave up three hits and struck out three for the win.
Ridgewood 9, Timothy Christian 2: Connor Gibson pitched a complete game and Anthony Mroz drove in two runs.
Schaumburg 12, Prospect 7: Matt Brancato (5-2) went five innings, gave up six hits and struck out three from the mound. Brancato went 3-for-4 from the plate with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored. Pat Bellinger was 2-for-2 with a two-run double and three RBI for Schaumburg (18-12, 9-6 Mid-Suburban West).
Schurz 7, Chicago Academy 6: Xavier Ramos was 3-for-4 with four RBI and Roberto Prado knocked in the game-winning run for Schurz (17-7, 14-0 Jackie Robinson Central).
Shepard 4, Brother Rice 0: Matt Schmeski struck out four in a one-hitter. Adam Samad was 2-for-2 with a two-run homer for Shepard (14-12).
Simeon 12, Young 6: Blake Hickman was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and four RBI while Corey Ray was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI. Shane Brown was 3-for-3 with two runs scored for Simeon (22-7, 12-2 Jackie Robinson South). Winning pitcher Terrance Robertson struck out nine from the mound.
Stagg 17, Thornridge 0: Ryan Donnelly (1-0) went five innings giving up two hits and striking out five. Kyle Belluomini was 3-for-3 with two homers, a double and seven RBI for Stagg (13-16, 6-6 SouthWest Suburban Red).
Taft 8, St. Joseph (Wis) 5: Melvin Sanchez was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI while Ray Cekus was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Taft (25-4).
Vocational 12 , Hyde Park 6: Byron Day blasted a three-run home run and Shaquille Branch struck out seven in the win for Vocational.
Von Steuben 11, Deerfield 9: Andres Montenegro was 2-for-4 with a homer, double and three RBI while Julian Calixto was 2-for-3 with a double, home run and three RBI. David Delvalle was the winning pitcher.
Wilmington 2, Aurora Christian 1: Nick Anderson allowed just three hits in a complete-game performance.
