WW South d. Glenbard North 25-16, 25-14: Thomas Jaeschke totaled eight kills for top-ranked WW South (28-0, 12-0 Dupage Valley).

Lincoln-Way East d. Lincoln-Way North 25-18, 19-25, 25-19: Ryan Varderer had five kills and six blocks while Jason Garnett had five kills and four blocks for No. 3 Lincoln-Way East (30-3).

Brother Rice d. Loyola 25-16, 25-21: Mitch Wieler had 11 kills, Matt Kill had six kills and Dan Dwyer had 24 assists for Brother Rice (17-11, 9-1 Catholic Blue).

Kelvyn Park d. Ag. Science 25-17, 25-18: Jose Alvarez had six kills and four digs, Jose Perez had four kills and 12 assists while Alexis Salgado had three aces and nine digs for Kelvyn Park.

Maine East d. Niles North 25-20, 25-14: Adam Bloniarz had six kills for Maine East (18-10, 5-3 Central Suburban North).

St. Francis d. Wheaton Academy 25-22, 25-19: Patrick Flood had nine kills, Ryan Coyle had seven kills, Jake Tibble had 11 assists and Robert Smith had 10 assists for St. Francis (23-11).

St. Rita d. St. Ignatius 25-19, 25-22: John Johnson had 17 kills and Bobby Raehl had six for St. Rita.

York d. Morton 25-9, 25-15: Trevor Jordan and Jack Ribar each had seven kills for York (12-12, 2-3 West Suburban Silver).
