Glenbard North 5, West Aurora 0: The No. 1 Panthers (25-1) were led by winning pitcher Lilly Fecho's no-hit, 11-strikeout performance as she moved to 20-1 on the season. Alex Caliva (2-for-4, two RBI) and Alexis Simone (2-for-3, RBI) packed the Glenbard North offense.
Richards 14, Shepard 3: The No. 3 Bulldogs (24-2, 17-0) won in the South Suburban Red as Molly Pohredny went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Dana Cummings also went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI while Taylor Adelman threw five innings and struck out seven to earn the victory on the mound.
Manteno 16, Herscher 2: The No. 5 Panthers (29-0) relied on the bat of Brooke Stulga, as she finished 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs.
Trinity 10, Queen of Peace 0: The No. 7 Blazers (23-5) won in the GCAC Red Tournament as winning pitcher Chase Machain allowed no hits while striking out eight. Nicole Evans was 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI to pace the Trinity offense while Gabby Smart was 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Lisle 4, Sandwich 0: The No. 10 Lions (21-3, 11-3) won in the Interstate Eight as Melanie Early (13-2) threw a complete-game three-hitter and struck out seven. Mackenzie Buchelt was 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored while teammate Kellie Brenna was 2-for-4 with a RBI to lead the Lisle offense.
Marengo 10, North Boone 0: Lindsey Melson had a complete game and allowed one hit and struck out 13 for No. 13 Marengo (25-5, 9-0) in the Big Northern East. Melson was also 2-for-2 with a double and RBI and Megan Semro added three RBI.
De La Salle 3, St. Ignatius 1: Kaity Krol had a complete-game win for the Meteors (20-9) while Alice Garza knocked in the game-winning two-run double in the GCAC Red Tournament.
Andrew 28, Thornton 0: Angela Robeson had a three-run home run and Becca Vahldrek added two RBI in the Andrew win.
Downers South 5, Morton 0: Katie LaCivita was 1-for-4 with a three-run double and Kaley Smith hit a home run to lead the Mustangs (18-9, 6-2) to a West Suburban Gold win.
Evergreen Park 8, Reavis 3: Jenna Haase (2-for-4, three RBI), Tori Senerchia 3-for-4, double, two RBI) and Maggie O’Toole (2-for-3, double, two RBI) led the Evergreen Park (18-9) offense while Carolyn Roberts (5-3) picked up the win on the mound.
Fenwick 3, Lane 2, 8 inn.: Ashley Parenti was 2-for-4 with two RBI and Jenna Cairo was 4-for-4 for Fenwick (15-8).
Immaculate Conception 11, Guerin 0: Jessica Conenna (17-5) threw a complete game and allowed only one hit to earn the win for Immaculate Conception (23-6). Gabby Davis was 2-for-5 with five RBI while Megan Sutton was 2-for-2 to lead the Immaculate Conception offense.
Kennedy 10, Ag. Science 0: Ashley Pasterkiewicz was 2-for-3 with two runs to lead Kennedy (12-4, 10-2) to a Red-South victory. Teammate Erin Maca drove in three runs and also scored twice while finishing 2-for-3 from the plate.
Lincoln-Way East 11, Providence 0: Sam Stewart was 3-for-3 with three RBI to pace Lincoln-Way East.
Lincoln-Way West 3, Stagg 0: Jess Kaemerer went 1-for-2 and Myranda Eckberg was 1-for-3 to lead Lincoln-Way West (19-9).
Lindblom 4-1, Kenwood 0-2: Mikela Dockery had eight strikeouts to earn the win for Lindblom in Game 1.
New Trier 9, Evanston 0: The Trevians (21-4, 9-0) won in the Central Suburban South as winning pitcher Kelly Shade allowed four hits and Alexa Caruso provided the run support with a grand slam.
Niles West 6, Waukegan 0: Krista Dawson earned the win for Niles West (6-18) allowing five hits and striking out 15. Alyssa Brummitt and Jill Rashid provided the Wolves' run support by each going 2-for-4 with a RBI.
Longwood 9, Curie 4: Armani Procter (12-4) earned the win for Longwood on the mound while she got help from Teyanna Simmons (3-for-3) and Isis Gunn (1-for-3).
St. Charles North 3, Elgin 0: Sabrina Rabin had a RBI and run to lead St. Charles North.
South Elgin 4, Lake Park 3: Kara Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with two doubles and Paige Allen was 2-for-3 with a RBI to lead South Elgin.
Taft 13, Lincoln Park 3: Kathleen Meersman earned the win for Taft, allowing three hits over five innings. Lety Rosales was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI to lead the Taft bats.
Thornwood 19, Thornridge 1: Brittney Mathews hit two home runs to lead Thornwood.
