Barrington d. Palatine 25-14, 25-22: Tommy Leonard had eight kills and four blocks, Jeff Hochstein had seven kills and three blocks and Charlie Spry had six kills and five digs for Barrington.

Glenbrook South d. Niles West 25-18, 25-19: Troy Farsakian had four kills and three blocks, Peter Rafalo had four kills and four blocks and Benny Papalnas had five aces for No. 13 Glenbrook South (17-7, Central Suburban South).

New Trier d. Evanston 25-17, 25-14: Alex Cook (eight kills, two aces), Mike Gajos (five kills, two blocks, two aces) and Matt Wascher (16 assists, two blocks) led New Trier (17-9).

Oak Lawn d. T.F United 25-13, 25-20: Sean Dunne had nine kills and Rob Shaughnessy had four in the Oak Lawn win.

St. Viator d. Joliet Catholic 22-25, 25-17, 25-20: Matt Michalik had eight kills, Tom Aichele had seven kills and Brian Stewart had 19 assists for St. Viator.

Waubonsie Valley d. St. Charles North 25-17, 25-23: Michael Simmons had 11 kills, John Tyne and Mike Storm both had seven kills and Luke Furman had 24 assists for No. 10 Waubonsie Valley (25-5, 4-0 Upstate Eight Valley).
