Mundelein 15, Libertyville 3: Pitcher Jared Mandel (7-1) went five innings, allowed five hits and struck out five to pick up the win. Torr Randau was 3-for-4, blasting a three-run double and totaling six RBI for the evening. Chris Maranto, Ryan Dolan and Bryan Wiener all went yard for No. 6 Mundelein (21-3, 7-0 North Suburban Lake).
Maine South 4, New Trier 2, 9 inn.: Patrick Aloisio (7-0) gave up four hits and struck out seven while going the distance for the win. Keenan Kelly was 3-for-3 with the game-winning RBI, Kyle Richardson was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Rex Slager added an RBI as No. 11 Maine South (19-3, 9-0 Central Suburban South) edged the Trevians.
Addison Trail 1, Leyden 0: Anthony Kalbas pitched five innings, giving up two hits while striking out five to register the win for Addison Trail (16-9, 9-2 West Suburban Gold).
Brother Rice 7, Loyola 0: Garrett O’Neill was 2-for-3 with two RBI, Redic Richardson was 1-for-3 with two RBI and Sean McGrath was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Brother Rice (16-9, 7-4 Catholic Blue). Pitcher Jack Miller (2-1) gave up four hits in the win.
Burlington Central 4, Harvard 3: Riley Jensen (6-1) tossed a complete game, giving up an earned run while totaling 12 K's. Bryan Cynova was 2-for-3 at the plate for Burlington Central (18-6).
Clemente 9, Northside 0: Winning pitcher Jonathan Figueroa (5-1) went six innings and fanned four. Yerbis Arays was 2-for-3 with a home run, double and four RBI for Clemente (14-3, 8-2 Jackie Robinson North).
Grayslake North 9, Woodstock 4: JP Zalewski was 2-for-4 with two RBI and Nick Carmody was 2-for-5 with a run scored as Grayslake North (11-12) moved one win closer to .500 for the year.
Huntley 3, Jacobs 2: Jake Perkins (3-1) pitched six innings, gave up five hits and struck out nine for Huntley.
Montini 7, Marian Central 0: Ben Dobosenski gave up five hits while striking out seven in a complete-game shutout. Eddie Bava (2-for-3, double), Chris Bartosz (2-for-4, double), Austin Kline (3-for-4) and Brendan Loftus (2-for-3) led Montini (12-13) at the plate.
Stevenson 6, Lake Forest 1: Jon Savarise tossed a complete game, allowing five hits and striking out nine. Zach Novoselsky went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI in the Stevenson (14-8) win.
Taft 10, Payton 1: Ray Cekus was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored while Elias DeJesus was 2-for-2 with thee RBI for Taft (21-2, 7-2 Jackie Robinson North). Matt Griffith pitched a complete game to earn the 'W.'
Westmont 6, Seneca 1: John Kelly was 1-for-2 with two RBI for Westmont (4-17).
