Richards 10, Oak Lawn 0: Brianna LeBeau (15-2) continued to shine in the pitchers circle with a no-hitter and eight strikeouts through six frames for the top-ranked Bulldogs (21-2, 14-0 SouthWest Suburban). Hannah Jenkins (2-for-3, double, RBI) and Molly Pohredny (2-for-3, double, two RBI) triggered the offense.
Minooka 14, Oswego 1: Jackie Lilek worked six innings and struck out eight for the No. 8 Indians (16-4). Mikayla Melone went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, while Jordyn Larsen chipped in two hits and two RBI.
Barrington 10, Prospect 2, 10 inn.: Tess Bolger (3-for-5, RBI) and Ally McLaughlin (3-for-6, RBI) sparked the No. 10 Fillies (19-4), who broke open a tight game with eight runs in the eighth inning.
Marengo 15, Richmond-Burton 0: Bethany Hart recorded nine strikeouts to move her record to 7-0 on the season. Karsten Reed went 2-for-3 with a homer, double and two RBI. Veronica Ruellus picked up three RBI for No. 11 Marengo.
Andrew 22, Thornridge 0: Heather Hudzinski (2-0) struck out seven in five efficient innings of work as No. 15 Andrew overwhelmed Thornridge.
Curie 4, Brooks 3: Nia Melendez (8-3) allowed two earned runs and scattered five hits in a complete-game win. Brittany Dimas (2-for-3, double, two runs) and Kecquelyn Matias (2-for-3, two RBI, two runs scored) led the Condors' offense.
De La Salle 12, Morgan Park Academy 2: Rebecca Brazel worked six innings, giving up two runs and fanning seven hitters to notch the win for the Meteors (19-8). Natalie Gorman had a huge day at the plate finishing with four hits, four RBI and three runs scored.
Downers South 7, Neuqua Valley 3: Katie LaCivita cracked the key with a three-run triple for the Mustangs and Jessie Andre was 4-for-5 at the plate.
Elmwood Park 27, Ridgewood 6: Catherine Conte had three hits and scored four times as the Tigers crushed the Rebels in Metro Suburban Conference action.
Fenton 22, Proviso West 1: The Bison routed the Panthers as Hannah Wassmann led the way with two hits, two RBI and three runs scored. Kelly Welch served as the other star for Fenton with a 2-for-2 effort including three RBI and three runs.
Fremd 17, Rolling Meadows 0: The Vikings (10-5, 7-3 Mid Suburban West) rolled behind slugger Brittany Ciura, who had a home run, double and four RBI, complemented by Megan Hubbard's two double and three RBI.
Glenbrook South 10, Waukegan 0: Winning pitcher Jen Zucker silenced the Bulldogs with a two-hit, 13-strikeout gem.
Hubbard 14, Bogan 10: Dianna Aranad struck out seven en route to a complete-game victory.
Kaneland 4, Morris 2: Delani Vest gave up four hits and had four strikeouts for the victorious Knights (22-5).
Lincoln Park 10, Amundsen 0: Nataja Cabrera finished 2-for-3 with four RBI for the Lions.
Lindblom 12, Simeon 5: Winning pitcher Stephanie Rodriguez set down six Wolverines via strikeout to lead the Eagles.
Longwood 7, Kennedy 6: Armani Procter led Longwood with three hits and three RBI while Teyanna Simmons drove in four runs.
Loyola 13, Queen of Peace 2: Emma Dahlberg was a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish to spark the Ramblers.
Maine South 8, Evanston 2: Jenna Christie held the Wildkits at bay with a four-hitter. She also struck out seven in the complete-game victory.
New Trier 11, Niles West 0, 6 inn.: Ryan Lee and Jackie Stern drove home two runs apiece to pace the Trevians past the Wolves. Allison Quigley dominated on the mound with 13 strikeouts.
Niles North 8, Deerfield 7: Winning pitcher Jackie Lochner also starred offensively with a 2-for-4 showing highlighted by a home run. Kristin Reichert joined the fun with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate.
Regina 10, Resurrection 0: Michaela Schukles belted a home run and knocked in four RBI for Regina (7-16). Emily O'Donnell went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI. Niki Richards tossed a three-hitter and fanned four in six innings of work.
Riverside-Brookfield 15, Illiana Christian 2: Senior Kylie O'Connell (11-5) yielded five hits and had seven punchouts. Emma Schander led the Bulldogs offensively with three hits, three RBI and a run scored in the Metro Suburban Conference matchup.
Sandburg 7, Homewood-Flossmoor 3: Amanda Barna (8-7) scattered four hits and struck out five for the Eagles. Candice Koch was 3-for-4 and scored three times. Jessie Pesavento slapped a pair of doubles and drove in three runs overall.
Stagg 10, Thornwood 0: Lizzy Rapacz and Joey Crockett (2-for-3) both homered for the Chargers (8-13). Stephanie Lorenz (6-11) tossed a one-hitter with six punchouts.
Warren 11, Antioch 0: Jessica Demski allowed three hits in five innings to earn the win for the Blue Devils (19-3-1, 10-0 North Suburban Lake). Amy Ricci went yard with a three-run homer and Lisiann Rodriguez blasted a grand slam.
Woodstock North 5, Huntley 4: Winning pitcher Kendel Schwebber went the distance allowing two earned runs and 10 hits. She also finished 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Yorkville 2, Rochelle 0: Rachael Owens struck out five and gave up just three hits to earn a win in a pitchers duel. Corrine Rowe and Lindsay Kring had two hits and an RBI each to provide just enough offense for the victorious Foxes.
