Marengo 7, Richmond-Burton 0: Lindsay Melson (19-3) bombarded Richmond-Burton with 17's and gave up just one hit on the way to a complete-game win for No. 11 Marengo (19-3).
New Trier 3, Maine South 0: Ryan Lee cracked a double and drove in two runs while Eileen Hurley had two hits and an RBI. Brigit Ieuter recorded the win for the No. 12 Trevians.
Trinity 8, Resurrection 1: Gabby Smart was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and Alyssa Marfoe was 1-for-2 with three RBI for the No. 13 Blazers.
Andrew 13, Queen of Peace 1: Jenna Lenza was 3-for-3 from the plate, jacking a two-run home and driving in a total of four runs for No. 15 Andrew (16-4). Brooke Hofer struck out seven in four innings pitched to register the win for the Thunderbolts.
Aurora Central 13, Aurora Christian 9: Mary Kate Gosselin was 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI, Gabi Alfaro 4-for-5 with a triple and two RBI and Dani Blake was 3-for-4 with a double for Aurora Central.
Bartlett 12, Meteav Valley 2: Winning pitcher Tori Burke (9-3) went 2-for-4 from the plate, lifting a home run and totaling three RBI. Alex Morales was 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored while Steph Tomazin was 3-for-3 with triple, double and two RBI.
Brooks 7, Jones 1: Karalin Kelley cranked a three-run homer and drove in another run for Brooks (6-6, 3-5 Red South). Hiba Habad finished with a triple and three RBI and pitcher Krystal Vazquez struck out six in the win.
Jacobs 6, Grayslake Central 1: Toru Bergre corded the win and Jacquelyn Hengler was 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base for Jacobs.
Kennedy 7, Washington 0: WP Yamara Rodriguez gave up four hits while striking out nine on the way to a complete game. Sara O’Brien was 2-for-2 with a three-run home and two runs scored in the Kennedy (11-2, 9-0 Red-South) win.
Longwood 13, Ag. Science 10: Winning pitcher Armani Procter (10-4) was 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI. Chantrelle Collier was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI for Longwood (10-4).
Marian Catholic 6, Joliet Central 2: Alex Nickel was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored to lead the Spartan offense. Pitcher Haley Earl went the distance, allowing one earned run on five hits in the Marian Catholic win.
Marist 3, Sandburg 2: Nicole Babrowski was 1-for-2 with a run scored, Kaitlin Kennedy was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Brooke Wyderski added two RBI for Marist (12-9).
McHenry 13, Crystal Lake Central 1: Mikaela Mitsch was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
Mother McAuley 5, Richards 1: Ashley Rogers gave up two hits and struck out six to pick up the win for Mother McAuley (17-6). Emily Powers was 1-for-3 with two RBI and Alex Brown was 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Niles West 4, Glenbrook South 0: Winning pitcher Krista Dawson went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI while Jessie Simkins had a double and an RBI for Niles West.
Oak Forest 7, Lemont 6: Emily Naegele was 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base for Oak Forest (15-9).
Plainfield Central 12, Plainfield North 0: Morgan Vogt (3-1) allowed four hits in a complete-game performance. Vogt went 2-for-4 with a triple from the plate and Cailey Baker cranked a grand slam for Plainfield Central.
Reavis 9, Argo 1: Yasmine Ballout was 2-for-2 with an RBI and run scored. Meg Higgins tossed a complete game, allowing just two hits and striking out five.
Shepard 7, Oak Lawn 1: Pitcher Stephanie Brand (9-5) struck out six for Shepard (12-9).
South Elgin 18, East Aurora 0: Paige Allen shut out the Tomcats in five innings from the circle, fanning along the way. Natalie Tortorici went 4-for-4 with a triple and an RBI as South Elgin demolished East Aurora.
South Shore 18, Robeson 5: Theresa Hobson was 4-for-4 as South Shore (9-1) devastated Robeson.
Warren 7, Lake Zurich 4: Megan Sowa was 3-for-5 with two RBI and Jill Fox was 2-for-4 with two RBI for Warren (17-3).
