Maine South 2, Evanston 1, 9 inn.: Winning pitcher Patrick Aloisio threw eight innings, struck out seven and allowed a run. Rocky Saavedra picked up the save and scored the game-winning run for No.12 Maine South.
Lincoln-Way North 15, Benet 10: Jack Troike and Ryan Pellack both went yard for the No. 13 Phoenix (17-5).
Glenbrook South 11, Waukegan 1: Sam Kolons struck out eight to pick up the win for No. 18 Glenbrook South (14-5).
Coal City 11, Plano 0: Nate Chapman (3-1) was the winning pitcher for Coal City (13-10).
Eisenhower 9, T.F. North 3: Justin Longoria (1-1) pitched five innings and allowed one earned run in the win for Eisenhower (5-16).
Evergreen Park 6, Argo 0: Ben Modesitt tossed a complete-game win for Evergreen Park. Mike Reuter and Kyle Venhuizen were both 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Glenbrook North 4, Maine East 2: Brad Margolin gave up two earned runs on five hits and struck out seven on the way to a complete-game win for Glenbrook North (15-7). Chad Bruce was 2-for-3 with a run scored and T.J. Tedeschi was 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored.
Grayslake Central 8, Woodstock 1: Kristian Meehan smacked two doubles and totaled four RBI in the Grayslake Central win.
Hyde Park 11, Tilden 10, 9 inn.: Shane McBride pitched the win and knocked in the game-winning run for Hyde Park (6-5, 4-2 Carlton Fisk).
IMSA 8, Rockford Christian Life 7, 8 inn.: Neil Patel was 4-for-4 with a double and three RBI for IMSA.
King 9, Linblom 8: Winning pitcher Kevin White struck out eight in six innings of work on the hill. Jeffrey Faulkner was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI. Sean Edison Jr. was 2-for-2 with three RBI for King (11-7, 3-4 Ernie Banks).
Lemont 13, T.F. South 6: Tyler Jay went four innings pitched, gave up four hits and struck out eight in the win for Lemont (12-7). Jay hit two doubles and drove in a run for the Indians.
Lisle 5, Westmont 0: Ryan Van Volkenburg shut down Westmont, allowing only one hit in a complete-game performance for Lisle (23-4, 9-0 Interstate Eight North).
Manteno 13, Reed-Custer 3: Ryan Sample lifted a three-run homer and JJ Witherow went 2-for-2 with five RBI for Manteno (23-2, 7-2 Interstate Eight). Nate Page (1-0) recorded the win on the mound, going 3 1/3 innings and striking out five.
Montini 9, Wheaton Academy 5: Chris Bartos pitched four innings to record the win and went 2-for-4 with a homer from the plate. Chris Lentine was 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and a total of five RBI.
New Trier 3, Niles West 0: Austin Zimmerman struck out 10 Niles West batters en route to a complete-game win for the Trevians (12-5, 3-2 Central Suburban South).
Peotone 7, Dwight 2: Frank Kolb went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
Reavis 11, Shepard 4: Mike Lally was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI for Reavis.
Richards 6, Oak Lawn 5: Rick Palacios knocked in the game-winning run for Reavis.
Seton 12, Cristo Rey 2: Ta’Shawn Grubbs gave up two runs and struck out six while pitching a complete game. Ryan Walker was 2-for-2 with four RBI and a stolen base, Curtis Cross was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Nick Tanniehill hit two doubles and scored three runs for Seton (8-16).
TEAM Englewood 12, Hirsch 1: Will Danner was 3-for-4 with three RBI and Anthony Harris was 3-for-4 in the Team Englewood (5-6, 4-2 Ron Santo) win. Pitcher Jeff Mack (4-0) tallied K's in the win.
Tinley Park 11, Hillcrest 1: Josh Simon was 2-for-3, blasting a home run and totaling five RBI for Tinley Park (12-11).
Walther Lutheran 8, Immaculate Conception 5: Mike Trotti was 2-for-3 with three RBI for Walther Lutheran. Pitcher Joe Lomnicki logged the win.
Westinghouse 17, Austin 8: Derrick Patrick went 3-for-4, blasting a grand slam and totaling six RBI. Jamar Leonard was 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored while Bryant Martinez went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Pitcher Pablo Riveria fanned nine in the win for Westinghouse (7-6).
Westinghouse 9, North Grand 7: Winning pitcher Derrick Patrick peppered North Grand with 16 K's on the way to a complete-game win. Jamar Leonard was 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored and Deandre Welch was 3-for-3 with a homer, and RBI and two runs scored.
