Downers North d. St. Francis 25-16, 25-23: Troy Krafthefer had 10 kills and Paul Novosyolov had six kills to help No. 7 Downers North (14-1) roll.

Ag. Science d. Gage Park 25-15, 17: Tim Johnson led Ag. Science with 13 kills.

Andrew d. Lockport 25-18, 25-20: Bobby Benaud paced Andrew (8-6) with 11 kills and 10 digs.

Kelvyn Park d. North Grand 25-21, 25-21: Marco Berber (six kills, five blocks, nine digs) and Jose Perez (three blocks, 10 assists) led the way for Kelvyn Park (11-9).

Lake Zurich d. North Chicago 25-9, 25-13: Chris Carmody had 13 kills to set the tone for Lake Zurich (2-9).

Libertyville d. Vernon Hills 25-18, 25-21: Brandon Leatherwood had 10 kills and six blocks to lead Libertyville.

Lincoln-Way North d. Joliet Central 25-8, 25-8: Josh Kim (eight kills), Bill Moisan (seven kills) and Matt Burke (13 assists) carried Lincoln-Way North.

York d. Proviso West 25-19, 19-25, 25-19: Jack Riber (11 kills, four blocks) Trevor Jordan (eight kills) and Jacob Ruprecht (30 assists) helped York (6-7, 2-1 West Suburban Silver) to the win.
