Conant 4, Fremd 2: Briana Cavin had eight strikeouts in a complete game for No. 3 Conant, giving up one hit and two runs. Miranda Cavin was 3-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored.
Elk Grove 10, Hersey 0: Dani Goranson struck out nine and gave up four hits going the distance for No. 6 Elk Grove (13-3). Andrea Starr (3-for-4, two RBI) and Elisa Payne (3-for-4, one double, two RBI) stood out offensively.
Glenbard North 14, Glenbard East 0: Lindsey Cherry had two strikeouts, walked three and gave up zero hits in three innings pitched for No. 5 Glenbard North (14-0, 2-0 DuPage Valley). Lilly Fecho struck out two in two hitless innings, while Sydney Benz was 3-for-4 with one double and four RBI.
Barrington 6, Schaumburg 0: Loren Krzysko had a three-run homer and Morgan Olszewski had one home run to lead No. 8 Barrington (14-3, 4-0 Mid-Suburban West).
Benet 12, Nazareth 0: May McGuire (3-for-3, two doubles, three runs scored, three RBI) and Emily York (2-for-3, two doubles, four RBI, two runs scored) led the way for No. 10 Benet (16-2, 4-0 East Suburban Catholic).
Marengo 10, Antioch 3: Linsay Melson had 11 strikeouts in a complete game, and was 3-for-4 with two RBI to set the tone for No. 11 Marengo (16-3). Abby Kissack and Bethany Hart added two RBI apiece.
Naperville Central 9, West Aurora 0: Kristina Vizza (6-1) had seven strikeouts and two walks to earn the win for No. 14 Naperville Central (11-3, 2-0 DuPage Valley). Maddi Donne was 3-for-4 with a walk, a two-run homer, two-run double and four RBI.
Andrew 11, Shepard 1: Brooke Hofer struck out five and gave up three hits in five innings of work for No. 15 Andrew (13-4). Jenna Lenza (3-for-3, two RBI) and Caitlyn Migawa (3-for-3, three RBI) sparked the offense.
Beecher 16, Momence 0: Savannah Sopper had a big game for No. 17 Beecher (19-2) in the rout, finishing with 12 strikeouts and giving up two hits in five innings pitched, batting 3-for-3 with four RBI.
New Trier 9, Lane 0: Brigit Ieuter (7-2) struck out 10 and surrendered just one hit in the win for No. 18 New Trier (10-3). Megan Neuhas (2-for-2, one home run, two RBI) and Abbey Boyd (2-for-2, two RBI) led the offensive charge.
Downers South 2, Leyden 0: Aleisha Bozek struck out seven and gave up three hits in a complete game for Downers South (9-6, 1-1 West Suburban Gold). She was 2-for-3 with one RBI, while Katy LaCivita was 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Glenbard West 5, Lyons 4: Jacklyn Tyburk was 2-for-4 with one home run and one RBI to lead the Hilltoppers.
Gordon Tech 13, Maria 0: Melanie Claudio had 11 strikeouts and three walks for Gordon Tech while holding Maria hitless. She was also 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI and two runs scored. Mika Morgan was 2-for-3 with one RBI, two runs scored and one stolen base.
Homewood-Flossmoor 12, T.F. South 2: Angela Roberts had two strikeouts in five innings pithced, and was 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI behind the plate. Kaitlyn Shereyk (3-for-3, one home run, one triple, four runs scored) and Danielle Werner (3-for-4, four RBI) helped spark the offense, as well.
Loyola 12, Niles North 1: Jamie Kiefer (8-4) picked up the win for Loyola (10-5). Rachel Lang (2-for-2, two home runs, two RBI) and Brooke Kehoe (2-for-3, two doubles, four RBI) powered the O.
Immaculate Conception 11, Marian Central 1: Jessica Conenna struck out eight and gave up six hits in five innings of work. Jocelyn Sanchez (3-for-3, three RBI) and Megan Surron (2-for-2, three RBI) carried the offense in the rout.
Oak Forest 12, Illiana Christian 3: Emily Larsen struck out seven in four innings, and Jourdan Skirha was 4-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base leading the way for Oak Forest (14-9).
Phillips 20, Dunbar 4: Vamoria Jernigan (3-0) had five strikeouts in the win for Phillips (5-2, 3-0 White), and Erin Phillips added a three-run homer to push Phillips in the rout.
Plainfield East 3, Yorkville 1, 9 inn.: Annie Molek had four strikeouts and gave up three hits and one earned run in a complete game for Plainfield East. Nina Maggio's two RBI led the offensive attack.
Providence 5, Marist 0: Amanda Wilson pitched a complete game, finishing with three strikeouts, and was 4-for-4 with one double and two RBI to lead Providence (10-6).
Queen of Peace 4, Argo 3: Natalie Doogan and Erin Jones had one RBI apiece to push Queen of Peace (4-11).
South Shore 12, King 7: Ciera Johnson had seven strikeouts in the win for South Shore (7-1, 6-1 Southeast).
TEAM Englewood 13, Harper 0: Kalisha King was the winning pitcher for TEAM Englewood (3-0, 3-0 Yellow). Tyranesha Clark (4-for-4, one double, four RBI) and Kayla Fleming (two RBI) led the offense.
Timothy Christian 5, Elmwood Park 0: Jessica Kok was 3-for-3 to lead Timothy Christian.
Woodstock North 6, Grayslake Central 0: Paige Busch was 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI to lead Woodstock North (6-11).
