Downers North d. Oak Park-River Forest 25-13, 25-19: Tony Krafthefer had six kills and Quinn Lueder had kills for No. 7 Downers North (13-1, 1-1 West Suburban Silver).

Barrington d. Fremd 25-19, 25-23: Tommy Leonard had seven kills and three aces for the No. 8 Broncos. Taylor Ganzer added 13 assists and John Bach added 12 assists.

Brooks d. Bronzeville 25-12, 25-17: Delane McClurkin had seven kills, Willie Lambert had three kills and Hector Lopez had 11 assists for Brooks (8-3, 5-3 Green-South).

Brother Rice d. Mount Carmel 23-25, 25-19, 25-17: Mitch Weiler had 13 kills to lead Brother Rice (7-7) while Ryan Paull added eight kills. Dan Dwyer added 38 assists.

Fenwick d. St. Laurence 25-13, 25-14: Peter Carey and Joe Kelly both had six kills while Michael Brosnan put up 15 assists for Fenwick (8-2).

Northside d. Gage Park 27-25, 25-20: Chad Massura finished with 11 kills and nine blocks while Umair Hamid had kills and three blocks in Northside's (1-4) first win of the season.

Payton d. Lincoln Park 25-20, 25-27, 25-22: Earl Schultz registered 17 kills and Alex Bresler logged 34 assists to propel Payton (8-2).

Plainfield South d. Oswego East 25-16, 25-7: Cody Jankowski and Tillman Hartell each had kills and Mike Pikuza had six aces for Plainfield South (8-4).

Richards d. Argo 25-12, 25-18: Jeremy Norton and Nick Kosta had six kills and two aces each to lead Richards (12-5).

Young d. Lane 25-19, 25-6: Okello Hope had eight kills and Jack Tracy had 28 assists for Young (11-6, 4-0 Gold).
