Oak Park-River Forest 9, Hinsdale Central 3: Nick Kowalczuk was 1-for-3 with a grand slam. Winning pitcher Max Guzzetta went 5 1/3 innings, giving up two runs and three hits for No. 3 Oak Park-River Forest.

Providence 6, De La Salle 5: Zak Kutsulis (4-1) went five innings, giving up two earned on five hits and striking out seven. Brandon Boggetto jacked a two-run homer and totaled three RBI in the win for No. 6 Providence.

Mundelein 10, Warren 0: Jared Mendel struck out six in the win for No. 7 Mundelein (17-2).

Nazareth 5, St. Viator 4, 13 inn.: Ryan Marske (3-0) worked six innings on the mound, giving up four hits and striking out eight. Jake Bartels was 2-for-5 and drove in the game-winning run for the No. 11 Roadrunners (15-1).

Sandburg 11, Lincoln-Way Central 5: David Cronin was 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI while Dan Rizzie was 2-for-4 with two runs scored for No. 18 Sandburg (12-3). Brian Pall logged the win on the mound.

Addison Trail 14, Willowbrook 10: Scott Babica was 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored for Addison Trail (10-7-1, 5-1 West Suburban Gold).

Aurora Christian 8, Guerin 1: Jake Hanson was 2-for-4 with three RBI and Kenny McCracken was 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Buffalo Grove 10, Hersey 8: Jimmy Barton went 3-for-5 with two RBI for Buffalo Grove (7-11, 2-2 Mid-Suburban East). Jeremy Berger (3-0) pitched three innings of no-hit baseball to get the win for the Bison.

Eisenhower 5, Reavis 4: Justin O’Hara knocked in the game-winning run for Eisenhower (3-15). Pitcher Christian Diaz de Sandy earned his first win of the year.

Evergreen Park 2, Shepard 1: Jesse McLain tossed a complete game, striking out seven and giving up four hits. Bobby McAvoy was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Evergreen Park.

Farragut 8, Westinghouse 3: Alfredo Ballinas went 2 2/3 innings and struck out eight for the win and went 2-for-3 with two RBI for Farragut (3-2).

Glenbard South 5, Rolling Meadows 2: Roger Dyrda allowed no earned runs and just four hits in a complete-game win for Glenbard South.

Hales 6, St. Francis de Sales 2: Derrick Coleman fanned nine and allowed two hits in a complete game win. Coleman helped out his own cause at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a total of four RBI. Adama Moye was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Jogay Tillman was 1-for-2 with a stolen base for Hales (9-6, 1-0 Catholic League Red).

Holy Trinity 10, Steinmetz 0, 5 inn.: Alex Gomez struck out 10 Steinmetz batters in five innings of no-hit ball and went 1-for-2 with three runs scored for Holy Trinity.

Homewood-Flossmoor 18, Joliet Central 0: David Stern was 1-for-2 with a double and four RBI as Homewood-Flossmoor (12-5) ravaged Joliet Central.

Joliet West 2, Lockport 1: Jake Herron (3-3) struck out 12 and gave up five hits in a complete-game win.

Lake Forest 9, Zion-Benton 1: John Muscarello tossed a no-hitter for Lake Forest.

Lemont 10, Hillcrest 0: Charlie Wright rendered Hillcrest hitless in five innings of work on the mound. Alex Broskovetz was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI for Lemont (8-7).

Lisle 4, Seneca 1: Parker Murray was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Brian Czyl had a double and two RBI.

Loyola 6, St. Patrick 3: Paul Kluckman threw a complete game, giving up four hits, striking out three and going 2-for-3 with a double from the plate. Matt Fallon was 2-for-4 with a double and RBI for Loyola (7-13).

Maine South 8, Waukegan 0: Rocky Saavedra pitched a no-hitter that featured eight strikeouts. Lawrence Darlak was 2-for-3 with a double and RBI while Kyle Richardson was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Maine South (13-3, 4-0 Central Suburban South).

New Trier 2, Glenbrook South 1: Pitcher Nick Hedge (4-0) had 10 K's in route to a complete-game win for New Trier (8-4).

Niles North 5, Glenbrook North 2: Jesse Green threw a complete game, allowing no earned on three hits. Anthony Sanchez slapped a two-run triple in the Niles North win.

Niles West 4, Evanston 1: Jason Meger gave up just two hits and no earned runs while striking out 13. Seth Rosenburg was 3-for-4 with two RBI.

North Shore 13, Morgan Park Academy 3, 6 inn.: Zack March had three hits and two RBI for North Shore.

Oak Lawn 4, Tinley Park 0: Bob Kametas (4-0) tossed a complete game, giving up two hits and striking out 11 for Oak Lawn (11-6, 6-1 South Suburban Red).

Richards 12, Argo 2: Tyler Sheehan was 3-for-4, blasting a two-run home run and scoring a total of three runs scored for Richards.

Rich Central 16, Bloom 0: Justin Freeman went five innings and gave up just two hits for the win. Ryan Calvin was 3-for-4 with two RBI and Jordan Smith was 2-for-4 with three RBI for Rich Central.

Riverside-Brookfield 3, Elmwood Park 1: Alex Nenadovic struck out seven and gave up just one run on one hit in a complete-game win for Riverside-Brookfield (11-6, 6-1 Metro Suburban).

Schurz 10, Prosser 0: James Bock threw an abbreviated, five-inning perfect game. Roberto Prado and Francisco Garcia both went 2-for-3 with a home run for Schurz (7-7, 4-0 Jackie Robinson Central).

Stevenson 6, Prospect 2: John Savarise gave up four hits and struck out nine on the way to a complete-game win. Steve Galanopoulos was 3-for-4 with two runs scored for Stevenson.

Taft 8, Northside 4: Ray Cekus went 2-for-4 with a double and three runs scored. John Guidone was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs score as Taft moved to 18-0. Pitched Matt Griiffith threw a complete game.

Thornton 8, Thornwood 1: Jason Towns pitched a complete game and struck out 13 to help move Thornton to 5-11.

U-High 8, Parker 5: Steve Glick recorded the win from the mound.

Urban Prep-West 15, Manley 3: Pitcher Travione Winding (3-1) went five innings and struck out five while Ben Reed went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and four RBI for Urban Prep-West (5-1).

Wauconda 11, Round Lake 1: Winning pitcher Sean Sundquist gave up just three hits. Tony Kaminsky was 2-for-3 with four RBI, Jake Ziolkowski was 1-for-4 with 3 RBI and David Diol was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Wauconda (9-5).

Wheaton North 2, West Chicago 1: Lake Bachar (2-0) delivered a complete-game win for Wheaton North (11-6, 4-0 DuPage Valley).

York 2, Glenbard West 1: Greg Costello tossed a complete game, giving up an earned run and four hits. Seth Dvorak was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Kyle Burr was 2-for-3 for York (12-5).

Yorkville 9, Rochelle 2: Mitch Prickett was 2-for-3 and Ryan May was 2-for-4 for Yorkville.
